Stay away!

Dirty rooms; A/C was loud and ineffective; building was crumbling; TV was from the 70's; common areas smelled like urine. Housekeeping didn't show up until dinner. We were required to stay here for 2 nights over Memorial Day weekend because the Delco soccer tournament requires teams to stay at the hotel they assign. They obviously get a kickback. This place was such a dump I can't believe they are allowed to keep the Quality Inn flag.

Good Hotel - Don't Believe Everything You Read

As a business traveler, I rely on reviews such as these to shape my decisions as to where I stay. I read some of the negative reviews of this hotel and almost decided not to stay here. Well, I'm glad that I ignored the bad reviews because my experience with this hotel was very positive. The location worked very well for me, the room was adequate, clean and although a bit old, perfectly acceptable for short stay. The hotel staff was friendly, the wireless internet access was free, the complementary breakfast was fine and most importantly, the price was right! If you are expecting a five-star hotel, you will be disappointed. However, if you are a business traveler who needs a decent room at a decent price, I would recommend that you stay here.

Good Place, Great People and Real Value for Money

I had a 2 week travel, which went on a unexpected extension and I had to stay for 5 weeks more...i.e. 7 weeks in total. I found the staff as very courteous and prompt in helping/serving + all of them made my stay as comfortable as possible and they also offered me a better rate compared to what was advertised. If I come back to Wilmington, I would definitely stay here. Good Place, Great People and Real Value for Money

GROSS.

This place is horrible! Our 1st room had rust-brown water, in our second room the door wasn't even locked. People are living on the same floor. Mateinance wasn't here to fix either problem. We were charged $120 for the night. The beds are tiny and the bathrooms are dirty. Don't waste your money. Not a good area either.

Good location for us.

We enjoyed the convenience of coming in from Rt. 95 to a hub of good restaurants and shops. We come down from Maine to wife's former childhood hometown and find this very accesible to our local needs.

Charming hotel

We came for business and stayed a few extra days to sight see. The hotel staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Our room was very clean and the bed was fantastic! The hotel's location is excellent and close to several great musuems (Winterthur and Longwood). We also enjoyed relaxing by their pool...also very clean. We will recommend the hotel to our friends and will stay there again when we return to the area. Really a great value too.
