Clarion Inn Bradley Airport, East Windsor

First of all we had made reservations for 7 nights,but stayed there for only one terrible night...Couldnt get to our room due to scaffolding in the stair well,where painters were working so had to use a stairwell at the opposite end of the building. Upon reaching our room,we werent able to get in. It seemed to be locked from the inside,although the electric lock did function properly. Back to the front desk,again. Had to switch rooms.The desk clerk argued with me on how to operate the door lock,AS IF I DIDNT KNOW (Im a Maintenance Supervisor for another Major Hotel Chain!) The desk clerk didnt even offer to help,other than switching rooms. We made the best of it and got into our room.After a few minutes, i decided to get some ice. I found the ice machine and it was out of order! Back to the front desk AGAIN! I told the replacement desk clerk that the ice machine wasnt working! Guess what his answer was! Yeah,we know, and directed me to another ice machine. Back to the room i went. Construction crews were banging on the plumbing until at least 7pm. GREAT! The next morning,at 5:50 AM,the construction crew was having coffee in the room directly below ours,so GUESS WHAT? Yep,we were up! We should of gone down and partied with them! So anyway, my wife really wanted a cup of coffee,so she turned the maker on and GUESS WHAT?, it didnt work!!!Figures. I called the front desk and the audit shift girl sent the head housekeeper up to our room..GUESS WHAT SHE SAID? These things tend to be kinda tricky! ARE YOU KIDDIN ME! She said you have to turn on the bathroom light switch to energise the outlet. (The outlet isnt even in the bathroom,its by the vanity across the room past the door! GEEEE,I should of known that!!! So anyway,after bitchin about this place to eachother,we called another hotel and, made reservations for 6 nights,and PACKED OUR CLOTHES, reluctantly paid our $66.00 and GOT THE HELL OUT,all by 8AM..All i can say is that if your going to do major rentovation to your hotel,then dont rentovate rooms in the same section your stuffing your GUESTS in. Im sure that the hotel will be very nice after the work is done,but until that time DONT EVEN BOTHER...
