Very Clean & Quite Hotel/Motel in Putnam CT.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/6/11
We had enjoyed our two days stay at King's Inn. We had a dinner at Mexican Restaurant name Casa Miarachi. In the morning we received our Complementary Breakfast on time. Staff very pleasant and helpfull. Love to come back and stay again at King's Inn.

Peace and Quiet
By happy customer, 5/8/08
In April of 2008, my husband and I stayed at The Country Hearth Inn in Putnam, CT.. The stay was terrific. We stayed on the pond side of the building, and was pleasantly surprised by the 2 geese and their babies just swimming around. We were told they come back every spring. It was a delight. We also received a complimentry continental breakfast every morning served to our room. For the small price we paid, we will be coming back to visit family and friends, and also to see the the geese family. We already reserved our room for next year. If you want quiet and a very serene surrounding and plenty of people to help out in any way they can,(the staff was very friendly), this is the place to go. It's also convienantly located for the casinos, private schools and alot of antique stores.....Can't wait to go back. Sincerely,A Very Happy Customer

An Inn or a VERY LOUD DISCO?
On 9/30/2006, myself and two friends stayed overnight at the Kings Inn, before the Susan B Komen Breast Cancer Ride. Of course we had to get up early in the next morning, so we turned in early expecting to get a good nights sleep! ANYTHING BUT!!!! Attached to the Inn, (motel type Inn), there is a function room. There was a band playing there that night. A Very Very Loud Band!!!! It was sooo loud it actually shook our room. OK...so thinking they would stop at 10pm...no....ok...maybe 11pm....no....they did not stop playing until 12:10am. Kept up most of the guests at the Inn that evening. Complaints only generated a 10.00 credit on the hotel bill upon check out. What is very frustrating, is that I wrote a letter to the General Manager. Then I called three times to follow up. Absolutely no response. And I have been very nice about it. Since the General Manager did not have the common courtesy to respond to my letter or repeated phone calls, this should tell EVERYONE about the type of service to expect at this Inn. Avoid it at all costs. I am sure you will be as DISAPPOINTED as we all were with our stay.
