My favorite place on earth!
This "dude ranch" is beautifully located with easy access to rugged mountain vistas (by horse), a good lake for fishing, and even has a large pool to soak in after a day full of horseback riding which is warmed by the hot springs which give it its name. Once a spah and hotel, it has many amenities and yet is still very rural. It is a wonderful place to get away from it all and enjoy nature and our western heritage. There are other activities for those who do not want to ride, like a ghost town visit and more. I am a rider, though, so I do not know as much about some of the other activities. The staff are wonderful people interested in your enjoyment of their little piece of paradise. Whoever you are, you cannot help but enjoy yourself while you are there, unless you just prefer big cities -- in which case, this is the exact opposite of where you would want to go. I like nature and abhor big cities, so I love this ranch.
