A Hotel From Hell
Suffice it to say that I am almost 66 years old, and this one week hotel stay is by far the worst my wife and I have ever encountered.
Whatever you do if you use this hotel, don't use room 106.
Problems:
1) Bathroom faucet fixture is loose and broken.
2) Water flow from the facuets is extremely slow(perhaps it has faucet prostate cancer).
3) Rugs look like they haven't been cleaned in months.
4) Light fixture has burned out light bulb.
5) Staff leaves early and if you don't leave your room by 1:00, your room will not be cleaned for that day and you will not receive clean linen(our room was cleaned only twice during our entire stay as we left our room during the afternoon each day).
6) Parking lot is poorly designed, and some of spots are very difficult to get your car into.
7) Toilet doesn't work properly, and on oen time, it took 10 flushes to completely flush a normal sized bowel movement(no exaggeration).
There are a lot more problems but I think you get the picture.
Also, a member of staff who has worked there a while told me privately that all the owner cares about is getting his money, and based on what we experienced, that appears to be the case.
The only positive is that hotel is very near downtown area and easy and pleasant to walk to.
This hotel(at the very least our room) was disgusting and an embarassment.
I am sending a copy of this to the central office of Budget Host.
ps I requested repairs or another room-neither of above were acted upon.
