Perfect Location
By lisa, 08/19/08
We had a great time here at the Sitzmark Aug 1st for a 3 day wkend. We never used the car once. We parked in the garage when we arrived and never saw the car until we left at the end of the wkend. Good central location, very friendly and helpful staff, room was excellent for the price, very clean with microwave, fridge, coffee pot. Gas fire and balcony. Would definatley recomend this to friends. Only drawback was there was no breakfast avail and vail is short on breakfast restarants.

The Best Ever
By J, 06/06/07
Our family loved the location of this hotel and the room we rented. The room overlooked Gore Creek, was located in the Village near shopping, and was surrounded by mountains. We've bragged about it since we were there last summer and will stay there whenever we need a room in Vail. We're definitely great free advertisement for Sitzmark Lodge! The Adams Family

Vail on a budget then November is the time to visit.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/03/05
We visited Vail in November 2004. This is the off peak time, and the town is deserted. We visited several hotels in Vail, and checked out their rooms and amenities. We chose this hotel, because we got an excellent price, for an unbelievable room. Our room had a sitting area, a balcony overlooking Gore Creek, a gas burning fireplace, and a large bathroom. We loved the room. Since there were not many people in the hotel we had the outdoor swimming pool and hot tub to ourselves. The location is great as it is in the heart of Vail Village. Andy at the reception was very helpful with restaurant recommendations. If you don’t like crowds and want to just relax, then November is the time to visit. Most of ski slopes will not be open in November.
