Vail on a budget then November is the time to visit.

We visited Vail in November 2004. This is the off peak time, and the town is deserted. We visited several hotels in Vail, and checked out their rooms and amenities. We chose this hotel, because we got an excellent price, for an unbelievable room. Our room had a sitting area, a balcony overlooking Gore Creek, a gas burning fireplace, and a large bathroom. We loved the room. Since there were not many people in the hotel we had the outdoor swimming pool and hot tub to ourselves. The location is great as it is in the heart of Vail Village. Andy at the reception was very helpful with restaurant recommendations. If you dont like crowds and want to just relax, then November is the time to visit. Most of ski slopes will not be open in November.
