Glenwood Springs Best Value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/02/08
Since 2007 Red Mountain Inn has been under new ownership. It is true that that it is Glenwood Springs best value, not only because of the prices but the property as well. It is pet friendly. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are super clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is a wonderful place to take the family for a weekend to get away. I personally love the flowers. Everywhere you look you will find something new and wonderful.

Fleas
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/02/06
We found fleas jumping on our two year old son. When we spoke with the person at the desk, they could not help us. The manager refused to change anything. Did not even offer another room! Avoid it at all costs.

Poor Customer Service - Unexpected Room Charges Upon Checkout
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/03/05
IAW the discussion with the owner and desk clerk the night prior to our reservations, an additional charge of $5 would be applied per night for housing a pet. We informed the desk clerk upon check inn we had a dog and she penciled in $5 additional charge on our receipt. Too our surprize upon check-out, 4 days later, the charge increased to $10 per night. When we questioned the additional charge, we were informed that we did not declare a pet with our reservations. I informed the desk clerk that I had called the night prior and that my wife informed the previous clerk that we had a pet upon check in. She stated she was not the owner and could not make any changes. We also noticed on our receipt, the section with the $5 charge had been written over with an amount of $10. So, we feel we were taken advantage off and were not informed of any of these changes or rules until check out. Additionally, the owner was not present for us to argue our point. Basically, they left us with no alternative but to pay the additional $5 per night for our pet. Due to this poor customer service and last minute charge upon check out, I would not recommend this lodging facility to anyone. I would be weary of their poor consumer practices. Consumer - BE AWARE!

Pretty Nice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/05/05
My experience at this hotel wasnt too bad. Other than the owner going into our room to shut the window while we were gone, the maids not restocking most of the stuff in the room and a cold hot tub, it was clean, quiet, right by the mall, 7-11, Burger King, other restaurants and like 2 mins. from central glenwood springs.
