6 reviews for Pagosa Lodge, Pagosa Springs
nice facility; poor front desk
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/04/09
Facilities were nice...breakfast was above average...service at the front desk from the assistant manager was confrontational. She disputed the rates we were quoted...said that she did not have the AAA documentation we provided...refused to give owners contact information

Nice place, unwilling-to-help staff
By Nathan, 01/23/07
The facilities were clean and in nice shape. It looked to me to be semi-recently renovated. Rooms were thoroughly cleaned every day. My compliments to the custodial staff The management and the desk operator left plenty to be desired. They were just short of being rude. Easily frustrated if more then one person was standing in line (even if we were all in the same group.) We were skiing at Wolf Creek and this is on the other end of town, but there's not a lot on the other end. Overall, it was cheaper (despite not getting the discount we were promised and they wouldn't negotiate) and the place was decent. I won't be staying here again.

can't wait to go again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/24/06
I loved it! Pagosa is a great, quaint town with very friendly people. Especially the Jim Bramwell Family. Thank you! I hope you all visit soon! Have a great day.

Cute Place
By NICOLE D, 07/11/06
We opted for the "Lake/Mountain" view room, where they advertised a view of both. And they're right - it would've been spectacular had the lake not needed to be drained because of some problem with the golf course next door! But the room was nice - really big! We ate breakfast at the hotel too - they advertise a "buffet" breakfast, which is just what they call it, because it's off-the-menu like most places - no buffet. But, the portions were huge anyway and great service too. They do have a pool and 2 hot tubs as well as a small gym (stair stepper, bike and weight machine). I would definitely stay there again!!

Accomidating sales person
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/25/05
When contemplating a meeting in Pagosa Springs, I found Marlene Jorgensen, sales manager, very accomidating. She worked with my staff to make sure all of their needs were addressed. She even came in on her day off to oversee our Sunday breakfast and departure. My experience with Mrs.Jorgensen is that she will go the extra effort to make sure your stay at the Pagosa Lodge is an enjoyable one.
