Embassy Suites Denver Southeast, Denver

I have been to this hotel before, but it seems to have gotten even better since we were last here. We stayed during business travel and really appreciated the friendly service and helpful staff. We had a problem with a toilet that was running and Arnold (I think that was his name - bald guy with a big smile) fixed it quickly and correctly. I know these things happen, and I appreciated the speed and efficiency they fixed it. Breakfast was great. I think the last time I was there I was in a hurry and didn't eat there. This time I had one of their omelettes! I was too busy to have drinks at their complimentary happy hour... but my workmates said it was fun. We'll definitely stay there the next time we go to Denver.

When you 1st arrive it looks like any other hotel, but the inside is gorgeous with a beautiful garden courtyard. All the staff is friendly and helpful acommodating all your needs. Breakfast is cooked to order and free which is great for families and an unlimited free drink (beer, mixed drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages) happy 2 hours in the evening, which saved us a lot of money since we were there for an entire week. All the rooms are roomy and clean with cable tvs, equipped with bar fridges, microwave, blow dryer, and coffee maker. There is a full gym, heated pool, jacuzzi, computers w/printer, and washer/dryer. Grocery stores and eateries all located in the area if you do not want to eat at their cafe/bar. Also easy access to highways to get to local sites. Noise was negligible in the room even though there was an hundreds of girls attending a softball tournament. The front desk staff was very helpful in navigating us throughout the city and distant sites when we called them by cell. The only thing I can say negatively is the amount of chlorine used in the pool at times it got nauseating, but it could have been the increased usage by the softball girls. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

dont drink the water in the hotel room. i came to my room with the sheets all jacked up and the hotel manager wouldnt let us switch rooms. the room smelt of mold and nasty sweat like someone had intercourse in my bed prior to me checking in. the pool was over chlorinated, and make me reek of nasty chlorine after taking a shower 2 times.

If you are a light sleeper, this is not the hotel for you. I am writing this review after one of the longest nights I have ever spent in a hotel. The walls are paper thin so I heard everything that happened in the hotel from doors opening and closing to people walking/stomping? From 10pm to 6am when I finally gave up.

It has everything we want, need, the service is the best, (and we travel a lot), cleanliness, friendliness, great food, great location for us --- what more could you ask for ---------------

We had 30+ family members (most with small children) stay here for 4 days. Everyone agreed, it was an excellent choice. The free breakfasts were delicious with a wide variety of options. Good water pressure & plenty of hot water. Clean, decent beds (not the softest, but certainly not too firm) and beautiful decor. Love the two room suites, perfect for those w/kids. Caution: The private balconies are unsafe for small children as the rails are extra wide. Location is great, too. Lot's of shopping & eating closeby. Whole Foods is right across the street, too. :) We'll certainly stay here again.
