Ask for room 122
Room 122 is on the end of the building, and as a result, has an additional window. That window gives you better ventilation, and a nice view of the nearby hills. It has two queen beds (although we just needed one) we had friends over who stayed in the adjacent room, so they could lounge on that extra bed and we could all hang out together.
The room was equiped with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, and a wall mount AC/heater.
The room also has a nice little table and two comfortable upolstered chairs, which were gross and in dire need of cleaning, as were the floors and carpet. There was no door mat, so all the junk carried in on one's feet or shoes is deposited on the carpeting. Additionally, the walls are painted a stark, bright white - not very relaxing - more hospital like.
The location is on the north end of town, and is convenient to freeway access. SLO's lovely downtown area is just down the street a few blocks, within a few minutes walking distance. One can also catch a trolley-bus downtown that runs every 20 minutes or so.
