Great hotel to stay at.
In August of 2006, me and my son stayed at this hotel for our first trip to LA. When we checked in 2 hours late [our plane had mechanical problems in NYC] the staff was polite, and courteous to us. The hotel rooms on the upper floors have terrific views of the downtown skyline, and of the mountains in the backround. The rooms were large, and the beds were very comfortable. There are 2 nice restaurants and a bar. There is a large, soothing pool, a business center, a large gym, valet parking, fast check in, and so much more. They are also located right next to a major highway so you dont need to drive around looking for it. A few cons of the hotel are the price, the fact that there is ONLY valet parking, so you cant park your car if you wanted to, and that its on a one way street, so its a hassle having to come all the way around a huge street to get back to the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to go to LA on vacation, and will be going on my next trip back there in a few months.
