Days Inn San Diego, San Diego

We stayed here recently and liked it.we will stay again.The staff was very helpful and our expectations was met.

We needed a room for one night in a licw location.This one was ideal and the accommodation was comfortable and the staff was very helpful.The room was nice and clean with a good view. The price we paid was very fair and considering that it was good value.

This is for the Days Inn on 1101 Hollister St. The hotel looks run-down and seems to be poorly maintained. The first room they gave me had painting tarps all over the floor, it was in the middle of being painted!! There wasn't even any furniture in the room!! The second room, which unfortunately, we did take because it was almost midnight, was a major disappointment!! The room is dank and musty. The beds are so hard, it would be softer to sleep on the floor. I killed 2 spiders. The walls have poorly patched sections. The toilet is filthy! The curtains are filthy and the heater blows up through them, so you get the smell/stink of the curtains blown into the room! We have reservations for several nights, but, we are cancelling them in the morning and definitely looking for a NICE hotel, which this is not.

We had an awful experience -- had three rooms the first night because of a burst pipe, the next room reeked of cigarettes (though designated a non-smoking room), and the third room stank of fish or something sour. We got very little sleep because the floors squeaked upstairs, and because the room shook whenever someone walked past. The other patrons were very noisy -- it was not a good weekend. Though we were given a discount, we will never stay there again.

Very family Friendly and Accomodating.The staff were sincere and went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed. They were friendly and helpful during our entire stay of three nights.For the price, the room was quite adequate, clean, and comfortable.

Had a wonderfull stay and kirk the front desk manager went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. We will come back anytime because of kirk.
