Residence Inn Oxnard River Ridge, Oxnard

This is a beautiful Marriott with great service. We were more than satisfied and I did find 2 things that could improve but I really hate to mention them because during a 7 day trip up the California coast, we were the happiest at this place more so than anywhere we stayed. But, just so the management will know: 1. There was no luggage rack in our room. There is tons of space to store clothing, but if one is staying for just one night and living out of a suitcase, a luggage rack is easy on the back. 2. Although, the beautiful pool seemed well taken care of, it needed swept out at the bottom and on the steps. There was a thick coat of sand like dirt throughout the steps and bottom. Even so, the water was nice and clear. The dirt was laying on the cement. The two comments above were not very important, when you consider that you get a beautiful large immaculate room a delicious free HOT breakfast and a complimentary supper with drinks, soda, fruit, etc., etc.!! They serve a different menu every night. The front desk help, the maids, and every person in this establishment treats you like you are a king. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and plan to again. If every Marriott in the country was as good as this one, other hotels would go out of business. You will be glad you reserved a room here, believe me.

People are very friendly...nice location near bases and easy to drive to...by golf course and most of all pet friendly...good breakfast i highly recommend it to everyone...

This place should be the Flagship of the Residence Inn. Excellent staff, service, and availability of hot tubs and pools keep me coming back. Breakfast and host hour are phenomenal for a Residence Inn. I recommend to anybody doing business in Ventura or the surrounding areas.

I stay at this property everytime I visit the Ventura area. As a former 25 year resident of Ventura I find this hotel to be the best value when traveling with my daughter. I usually reserve the Penthouse suite which allows her to enjoy her private space and still travel with me. I will continue to stay at this property and it was being upgraded the last time I was there. (12/04) So I am hoping I will be fortunate to stay in an updated suite on my next visit in April. The service is always excellent!!
