Wouldn't go there again.
By Christine, 01/23/10
When we arrived and checked in we could already tell this hotel lacked customer service. She was not friendly and it seemed we "interrupted" her. We got the room and there were no wash clothes, the toilet seat was broken, the remotes didnt' work and there were no blankets for the couch bed. Which may not have been a big deal if the there wasn't a 2 inch gap under the door. We reported the problems. There was no "oh i'm sorry" or anything she just wrote the list and said "anything else?" The problems were taken care of. When we left we noticed that in the agreement we had to leave the key at the front desk or we would be charged $10. Most places just let you leave the key in the room because that is more convenient. We went to return the key and it was pouring rain! So, of course we tried to pull under the overhang by the front door. However, there was car parked there. We noticed it was the same car that was parked there when we arrived. It was an employees car, taking up a space for customers to pull up and drop off keys! I guess if you're really trying to save money its fine but, I would suggest paying a bit more and staying somewhere else.

Great deal for us!
By Peter, 05/31/09
Our first impression of this place was shock because the building on the outside looks like it was left in the middle of a repaint job; white paint over the blue exterior. But first impressions can be deceiving because the room we got was big (2 beds) with enough room to stretch. the hotel staff was pleasant and they had a pool and jacuzzi that was well used by kids that were on a tour group that was staying there at the same time. The free breakfast consisted on dry cereal, toast waffle or a muffin with juice or coffee. Not bad to start the day. The hotel was next to Outback Steakhouse, BK a short drive from some Asian restaurants. Very close to Disneyland (about 15 minutes by FWY) or by MTA bus 460. The only negative were the ratty/dirty towels, so bring your own towels.

No longer a Best Western but it's still OK.
By Count of Ulrich, 04/08/09
The best price around! Hotwire.com for $36/night. The room was comfortable but due to the motel style layout, you will hear your neighbors walking by your room. The inside was nice, pull out couch, king size bed with pillowtop mattress, and a bathroom that was decent but the toilet lid needed fixing. Overall, a B-.

We come back every year.....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/05/08
.....because this is the best place to stay with children. My sister and I take all our grandchildren on vacation every year. She drives in from Arizona and we meet here to start our adventure. We rent the suites because we have a total of 8 children and 2 adults. (suites have 2 televisions-BIG HELP) Their continental breakfast holds us until we get out for the day. The pool is clean and located in a central area. Our little ones even enjoy the playground. (anything to wear them out!) Soooo, for the price we think this is the best!!

Nice Place to stay
By shadowkeeper, 06/23/07
The place was clean and well taken care of, the maid service was outstanding and very efficient. The maids maintained an excellent level of service, I stayed there for a week on bussiness and would stay there again. Hoever they advertise a microwave and free newspaper, I had neither one. For those who wanted internet access and did not have a computer, they have a internet kiosk there but pretty pricey at .20 per minute to check e-mail. Breakfast consists of toast, waffles in a toaster and cereal. There is no hot breakfast offered at least not the week I was there. ANyway for a room that is clean and service that is great it cant be beat.

Believe it or Not!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/22/07
When I first walked in to check in, they were staring at me like an animal. Now... I thought I was one who's paying for the night? After the check in was completed, I asked clerk to see if i can borrow one of the bottle opener to open one of the ciders. The cleark told me to bring the bottles and open it in the lobby or elsewise they would charge it to my room. I did promised to bring it back and the greet that i have heard from the cleark was instead of "Thank You" Quoted "You are lucky because i was going to charge you." These guys have no respect what so ever and love to charge everyone in a different way. My advise to all of you who wants to stay at this hotel is that "Do Not Touch Anything, or They will Charge it to your room."

Wonderful trip
By MieY, 07/20/06
This was my first stay at a Best Western, and I must say, I was very impressed. We didn't need much, but when we did, the staff was very accomodating, the lobby was very nice, our room was always especially well-kept, and we even got upgraded to a suite at check in! No wireless, but so long as you bring an ethernet cable you're good. I never woke up early enough to catch breakfast, so I don't know how that was, but Burger King's right next door. Knott's is right down the street, there's tons of restaurants in the immediate area, as well as Buena Park mall on Beach and LaPalma, and convenient access to the 91.

False advertising
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/24/04
Our stay was very unpleasant, as the beds were broken down, the rooms were unclean, and the maid service was quite poor. The cable is terrible and doesn't include ESPN, while the supposedly free internet service requires the swipe of a credit card at about $10.00 per hour charge. We had to ask for towels and washcloths repeatedly and received hateful remarks from two of the maids concerning this matter. The noise from the outside was more than a little disturbing, and getting hot water for a shower was as likely as getting the towels to dry off. We travel rather frequently and have never had a stay that even approached this place. The management/owners should be ashamed of themselves for running such a poor operation. Clearly, this hotel is worth no more than $20.00/night, and that is only if one wished to sllep on broken down beds.
