We loved this hotel

We stayed in this hotel from 7/2 to 7/5. The hotel was nice and clean. Very close to freeway. The driving distance to Yosemite south entrance is about 1 hour. Our kids loved the pool.

A Train Runs Through It

Nicely appointed old standby. A little outdated, but well established in the nicer part of town. Unfortunately it's located next to railroad tracks and three trains grind by during the night. Big drawback..

Good Place to stay.

I had a horrible stay at this hotel. But let me tell you about the room. The room was clean. There is a good size TV, fridge and in-room coffee maker. The bathroom is has shampoo/conditioner/soap. The A/C is quite and easy to operate. And for those corporate road warrior, free internet and three confortable chairs. It seems like the room was a bit bigger than most inns. Also, they are contributing in reducing pollution by giving customers an option of reusing their towels. Bring your own moisturizer. This is not the Hamptons. The front desk clerks are not friendly. I would have had a great stay it it wasn't for how they treated my concerns. It took a lot of effort for them to correct it. This is good for people in a budget and still want the amenities of typical inns.

Alright in a pinch

The room was spacious, quiet and clean. The airconditioning worked well and was quiet. But the beds were old and sagging. There was in room coffee, but I was unable to make the wireless internet work -- even though I was willing to pay $10.00. There are several resturants within walking distance, and many more within a mile or two. Overall, a mixed bag. The continental breakfast was served in a room where the air conditioning was not working. The selections were average a few cereals, bagels, pastry, juice, coffee -- but nothing special or interesting. The heat and smell of the room made it unappitizing. In this price range, the Hampton Inn is a better bet, but it was full the night I stayed here.

Nice Hotel

This hotel/motel is a reasonable, clean place. The room we had was nice, I wouldn't say it was great. We've been to most of the places in this part of northern fresno, and this is about the same as the others. The free breakfast was coffee, juice, cold danish, cereal, and misc. fruit. Better than nothing, but on the second day we were ready to just go buy some donuts.
