I ENJOY THIS LAQUINTA...HAVE STAYED HERE MANY TIMES..EASY ACCESS TO FREEWAY...PLENTY OF FOOD NEARBY..SERVICE IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY..ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND SPACIOUS..2 THUMBS UP..

Old, old, old

The location was OK and it was clean, but it is a very old property and is showing its age. Our room was not ready when we arrived, three hours after check-in time began and four hours since check-out time. They had to re-key the room because the previous guest hadn't turned in all his keys. They'd known about it since at least Noon and had not corrected the problem by 4:00 PM. The toilet ran constantly and the only way to stop it was to reach into the tank and manipulate the flapper ball. When we complained about it the next morning, the clerk responded that they'd been having problems with the plumbing. No kidding! The breakfast buffet was pretty sorry, with pre-packaged muffins, one choice for cereal, and a basket full of hard-boiled eggs. The seating area was crowded and poorly laid out. I won't be in a hurry to stay here again.

Personal Items Stolen & Moldy Appliances

Do not stay here if you value your possessions. My grandparents made the trek to Stockton for my daughters 1st birthday and stayed for a second time at the La Quinta. After finding that there was no refrigerator in their room, they made a request for one only to receive one that had not been clean and was moldy on the inside. Not wanting to raise a stink and happy to have one at all, my grandfather cleaned it out himself. Still, they were singing praises about the discount they were given for The Old Spaghetti Factory next door. This morning they informed me that her suitcase had been gone through while they were gone and a precious scarf from Ireland had been taken along with some jewelry. The jewelry was in a bag in the bottom of their suitcase and it contained a pearl ring of her mothers along with some other important items. No one at the hotel has been helpful or sympathetic towards her at all. She will never see those items again and she is sick over it. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Clean, well priced, convenient location to freeway and restaurants. Was quiet. Had good continental breakfast and staff was very helpful.

Northern California Special Olympics Summer Games of 2003

My Special Olympics friends (the athletes) and the coaches & I of Napa, stayed here from June 5th-8th in 2003 for the Northern California Special Olympics Summer Games at Unnversity of Pacific-Stockton's campus, the staff were always there when we needed help, on 1 occision, the maid helped my friend out by giving her more shampoo, because my friend Joan forgot her shampoo and the maid gave my friend 5 shampoos. Thanks for helping the Napa Special Olympics stay here. Best of luck, Timmy

Overall very pleasant experience

My family enjoyed our stay here. The staff attended to our needs within 5-10 minutes of asking from the maintenance guy, the housekeeper and the breakfast lady assistant. The room was clean, towels white and soft and the sweet scented bath and hand soap were very lathery. Great price. Close to the freeway and the commercial center within 1-2 miles on surface street.

Clean, Clean, Clean

This place is clean and resonably priced, with a great continental breakfast. I didn't worry about safety, check in and check out were FAST! I've stayed here with my children and grandchildren at least 3 times a year and have never had a problem with A/C, or anything else. Staff is extremely helpful. I'm staying there again tonight.

Will not stay here again.

First of all, receptionist had me wait for about 15 minutes while she answered the phones.Not good especially when you are exhausted.Rooms were pretty small, one of the beds had a broken leg and my friend almost fell off it when she sat on the edge. I called and the receptionist asked to take are stuff to the front and she would change the room. The phone had a bad connection and we were disconnected twice. The receptionist did not call back or even asked us why we did not go back to the office. We were so tired, we just kept the room. I wanted to relax with a glass of wine but forgot corkscrew. Receptionist said they did'nt have one because the other girl took it to a wine tasting party. Hmmm, we were really upset now.Receptionist seemed very lazy...

Good value

I stayed at this La Quinta for one night for business. Room had king-sized bed with a desk, and wireless high-speed internet that worked great. Room was clean, but showed some wear and tear with cracked tiles in the bathroom. Breakfast was typical La Quinta with pre-packaged donuts/muffins/cereal and coffee and juices. I stay at about 15 La Quintas a year for business and would consider this pretty typical for the chain. Nothing special, but reliable. Staff was very friendly, and there were 4-5 restaurants in easy walking distance.

Not what I had expected

Well I chose this hotel rether than a Comfort Inn down the street. I was disapointed because my two beds in my room were much smaller than in other hotels and my Non-Smoking room stank of smoke. The alarm clock failed to wake me up, luckily I didn't oversleep. Over all the it's a nice hotel, but disapointed when it was listed on Yahoo.com as a 3 star hotel. Try a 2 star and then they are accuarate.
