A very generous spirit!

My wife and I visited Best Western Beach Resort in Monterey for a second stay in late May/early June. We were scheduled to be there for three days, but an emergency centering on our vehicle required that we leave a day early. In a wonderful, gracious gesture, Best Western did not charge us for the third day, even though we were nearly five hours beyond check-out time! Also, they moved us to a quieter, marvelous ocean-view room the second night of our stay, honoring our request to be located a significant distance from the elevator. The stafff was considerate and professional, and did their best to make us comfortable and happy. I strongly recommend their ocean-view rooms, which provide the guest(s)with a fantastic view of Monterey Bay. All in all, this is a super place to stay, and their kind gesture of not charging us for a third day says a lot --- all of it good --- about their attitude. Jack and Gladys
