Go elsewhere if you can
Stayed at Heritage Inn a couple of trips because other hotels were full. Was disappointed each time. Room was average, although I appreciated the small balcony for enjoying the cooler night air.
Lots of small problems, however. For one thing, the gap in the door frame was so large, the door wouldn't latch securely (poor workmanship).
Secondly, the breakfast was, well, pedestrian. Nothing special. I can't even remember what it consisted of, but I remember I couldn't eat any of the cooked products. Too cold and tasteless.
Third, the cost was the same for the Carriage Inn, which was a much better value, with a REAL breakfast available at no charge (I hear that has changed now).
If at all possible, stay at the Carriage Inn. If not there, give this hotel a look only after checking out prices at other hotels in the area.
