Great Highway Inn, the beach resort, was remodeled in 1998 inside and outside to provide our guests clean and comfortable rooms. Enjoy ocean views from the third floor. Guests can relax in a neighborhood location rather than the hustle, bustle of the downtown area. Public transportation to downtown and Pacific Bell Baseball Park is just two blocks away. Nearby attractions are beautiful Golden Gate Park, the Historic Cliff House and the San Francisco Zoo. The Inn offers free guest parking and free shuttle service to UCSF Medical Center. There is also Ladda's Thai and American Restaurant on site.

Great place to stay-$115 a night

This place has a great location not only for the beach, but to the rest of the city by the Muni N Line train or the Muni Bus system located a block away. Good clean and quiet rooms.

I was visiting friends and needed a place close to the location. The room was excellent, with a sitting room, enjoyed my stay.

A very good view of ocean from my upstairs room. Otherwise, close to restaurants, and managers were very pleasant to work with. Cleanliness of room made it a very enjoyable stay, also.

unethical!!!

They don't ask you if you want a smoking or non-smoking room when you check in. When you request to be switched to a non-smoking room, they said "No!" and will not give a refund. My girlfriend has severe asthma, so I had to check-out without staying in the room at all and lose all my money. Very poor service!!! Very unethical!!! The motel only remodeled the outside as the inside is very shabby. The carpet was old and dirty. Do not stay here!!!
