Double charging customersm be careful

we were looking for a cheap motelin LA for a 14 hour layover, and we chose Royal Century Hotel. it was a so-so accommodation but we know we're getting it for a cheap price.
the site asked us our credita card number but promised not to debit since we are paying cash for it. (venere.com says that they wont.
guess what? it's been over a month and since then the double charge hasnt been credited back yet to my account after their constant apologies they made a mistake. i dont think they'd feel $65 reicher by withholding it back to us, would they? just sayin....
