Great hotel

I stay at this hotel 4 or 5 times a year. It is close to the casino's, skiing and the lake. I stay here when on business but would stay here on vacation too. The staff is very helpful and the continental breakfast is always good. I highly recommend this to anyone staying at the lake.

great place for skiers

you can park out side your room,,,claen rooms...great tv for the kids,,,free internet.....but the free breakfast is great before you go skiing......staff where ok and can tell you some great places to go

Terrible Place - Stay Away!

This place is a dump. The sheets are stained, the plumbing leaks all over the floor, and I hope you're a sound sleeper because the walls are paper thin. The staff are rude and the Wi-Fi was broke when I was there. Stay away!

pool a disgrace

was here for just 1 night it was enough the room was freezing when we arrived and smelled damp was ok after we put the heating on the beds were ok with clean sheets the room could have done with a good clean the pool was in the middle of the car park and (i think someone must have changed a punctured tyre and threw the old 1 in the pool along with 7 others) it was a disgrace. the breakfast was ok.

Worst Hotel Ever

I stayed there March 06 and was very dissappointed when I arrived at the hotel. I paid $159+tax. This hotel is very run down. The rooms are dated and dirty. It is no more than a 1 star hotel and to pay $159 for this is a crime! It was pre booked and pre paid through hotels.com so i was not able to cancel it when i arrived there. The front desk were somewhat helpfull although the would not call me a cab untill I got to the lobby! Take my advice and avoid this hotel. I wouldnt pay $30 to stay there again.

Great except for the last morning.

We stayed here 3 days and had breakfast all 3 mornings. On our final morning, we were the only guests having breakfast. No yogurt was set out, but my wife knew where it was kept, behind a bar. She went back to get it and then the woman who'd been at the front desk walked in the room and in a very rude manner, told my wife to get out from behind the bar. "That's private, you don't belong back there." I tried to defuse the situation by saying "Honey, that requires years of training!" But this woman wouldn't back off, initially refusing to give us any yogurt. After breakfast, I went to checkout, but interupted her solitaire game. I've written a letter to the manager. another complaint that for a hotel in snow country, the parking lot should have been sanded. It was a skating rink.

Never stay here

This place was a nightmare. The people at the front desk were very rude. We left a pillow and a pair of shoes at the hotel and getting them back was like pulling teeth. The manager, Renee, was very impatient and impolite when I asked for her help returning our property. Obviously this place doesn't feel it needs to make their guests feel welcome during the busy season. It would be worth the extra money per night to not have to deal with such attitude. Never stay at the Quality Inn if you're looking for a non-stressful place to stay. Horrible!

I wouldn't stay there again

the "quality" inn is an exaggerated name for the inn in my opinion, because i've actually stayed there.. i stayed in a non-smoking area where my neighbors were in too. but my room had a very smelly odor like ciggerete smoke and was very awful. the tv was good though. and we recieved no free conventional breakfast because it was full. plus the pool wasn't open in june except july, august and september and well i won't stay there

No quality here!

We paid another $11 to upgrade from a queen to a kingsize bed. The shower was covered with mildew and there was hair in the tub. Blood or lipstick on the bedspread and a large burn on the blanket. Holes in the sheets from wear. TV reception was poor. Work is being done on the pool and spa area. They won't be available for "about a year". Continental breakfast was okay. Good location, about .5 mile from casinos.
