Its great!

Ive never visited the Best Whittier Inn, however my great grandpartents owned this hotel in the late 60s threw the mid 70s. It was originaly called The Kings Retreat. I'm not sure if it is decorated the same way, but when they owned it, it was decorated with mid evil stuff. Like knights in shinning armor. I would love to visit sometime in my life. Im glad to see that the pool hasnt changed after 30 or so years! We have many great family memories there

Not too Bad

You have to get a non-smoking room first and foremost. My experience was not bad. Service desk was very friendly. Quiet complez over all. It looked as though the room had just been remodled, so needless to say it was clean and nice. The bathroom looked great. You must keep in mind that this is a a hotel on a buget but if you ask me I think $80.00 per night was a little much. Sure Arby's, El Pollo Loco and Hollywood Video are across the street but still....it is a budget motel. Overall.....My stay was nice. One more thing....the beds are very stiff. yet...another downfall.
