Mountain view lodge and suites, Bozeman

Very convenient to I-90, just 100 yards or so from the exit 305 ramp. Stayed here westbound and liked it enough to stop again on the return trip. Desk staff was pleasant and accomodating. This appeared to be a newer property and the common areas and parking areas reflected that. The hotel is two-story with access to the upper floor via a large staircase in the main lobby. Housekeeping was first-rate with attention to detail evident in both the room and bathroom. Like other AmericInns this location promotes its "quiet construction" and it actually seemed evident here. Aside from the occasional door slamming we spent two undisturbed nights. Internet is wired but ethernet cable was provided on the room desk Quiet, clean and a good value, at least at the time of year we stayed (late Sept.). We'll look at booking here again.

Our stay at the AmericInn was very pleasurable. It was a very nice, clean place with comfortable beds and rooms. The continental breakfast was great with lots of choices. I was leery after reading the two reviews that were not very positive, but we had a very good experience and would stay there again.

The Inn itself was nice and the pool area was a nice size, the overnight stay was fine. We had paid for the room and breakfast and so we set the alarm for 8.00 to go for breakfast at 8.30. We got up and started getting ready and then realised that the bedside clock was infact 2.5 hours slow and it was 10.30am!! We had missed breakfast (which was included in the room price). We spoke to reception and they advised my partner that there was nothing that they could do about it. I was on holiday in America travelling all the way from the UK and this was my last day! So I went to speak to them to try to see if there was something they could do for us....the customer service girl was incredibly "put out" that I was complaining. She was rude and did not give me any indication of respect or understanding for my situation. She eventually offered me $10 compensation, which was ridiculous as the room cost around $160... and $10 would not even cover the breakfast....never mind the loss of time and general inconvenience. So I was disappointed to say the least. We left and sped back to where I packed in a rush and hastily flew back to the UK. When I got home I emailed Americinn customer services and after a few days I got the standard reply that my comment had been forwarded to the branch in question and they would contact me within one week. So 3 weeks went by and so I emailed the person who had replied to me before. That was over 2 weeks ago and still nothing....I have not even had an apology from the branch. The customer service from both the branch and the company are inadequate and I will not be going back. BE WARNED!!

We stayed here July 15-18, 2005, as part of an anniversary party. Had it not been pre-arranged by family we would have left after the first night. The insulation from outside noise (hotel is beside the interstate highway) is great, we never heard any traffic. We did hear people inside the hotel just outside our door all three nights, and the doors slam shut with a terrible noise. The in-room coffee that is provided is awful - bring your own and give them Starbucks phone number. The continental breakfast is so-so, the second morning we had to wait at least 30 minutes for coffee in the breakfast room, and the hotel was well aware they had two groups and should have planned for that many. We were given only one bar of soap for the entire visit. My parents had a handicapped room and said the shower was very nice, however the sink was set too far back for a person in a wheelchair to have easy access. For a newer motel it needs some improvement.
