Pefect for a honeymoon

My wife and I just returned from our week-long honeymoon at the Blue Tang Inn, and we LOVED it. Pefect location (right on the beach, but away from the tourist crowds), a private pool, friendly staff, a roof deck for watching sunsets and spacious rooms--too many great things to mention! If you are looking for a great tropical vacation, go to San Pedro, Belize. If you a looking for the perfect hotel in San Pedro, book a room at the Blue Tang Inn.

I love this place

We've stayed there several times. The girl in the states who does the booking isn't there anymore - we miss her - but the hotel is still charming. Perfect place to stay, just close enough to walk to everything, but far enough away to be hassle free. The tiles by the pool get slippery. My granmother slipped once on the stairs. Just be careful.

Wonderful place for a wedding

My husband and I just returned from our wedding at the Blue Tang. What a fantastic place! I can't tell you enough how easy the Blue Tang Inn made getting married. Not only did they take care of the major details, they made the beach look beautiful for my wedding. Many thanks to Fanny, Alan, Eddie and the rest of the Blue Tang Staff.

Green Pool - not clean

Did not enjoy our stay at the Blue Tang Inn "Dennis" the owner was more interested in sailing than dealing with his guests Rooms have seen better days Ocean View Room is nothing more than Palm trees from the 2nd floor

Friendly - Moldy Room

Very Friendly place, we might stay again, (?)But would not stay in the same room. Our room had a LOT of mold. TV's cost extra. The Cost of the room included transport to-and-from airport. But when we left, the cab driver charges us. (we has extra BZ money anyway, so we paid without debating it) But it did bother me to pay again. I Like the location, a short walk North of town center.

what i like about this place(blue tang) that it was quiet, peaceful and clean. i like the poll the staff is very friendly they serve a delicious breakfast we went snorkeling with some of their staff going with us it was amazing we ask for as many towels we want and we get it fanny,alan and the rest were very helpful and friendly i went twice at their hotel and wish to go back again thanks guys who over reads this review i recommend you go there!!!! bye!!!

Had an Awesome time

I loved my stay at the Blue Tang. A beautiful view of the ocean from our 3rd floor room. They have small pool, but with the wonderful ocean at your doorstep we only used it once. They have wireless internet in the hotel for those who want it and the Air conditioner was a remote control unit that cycled on and off (most others we had on this trip had to be turned on and off manually. Even tho the blue tang did not serve meals there were plenty of places to each along the beach or on the street behind. Also close to the grocery store if you chose to eat in -- nice kitchen and eating area. I would definately go back there.

Only Place to Stay in San Pedro

My sisters and I stayed at The Blue Tang last week (March 15-17, 2005) and had a fantastic stay. Check-in/check-out was easy and convenient; the staff was extremely accommodating; the proximity to everything on the island--airport, restaurants, tour operators, downtown, and everything else--was perfect; and our room was clean and comfortable. Billy and the Hustler crew were some of the nicest, most professional people I have ever met in the diving industry. And it didn't hurt that the diving itself was amazing! I highly recommend The Blue Tang for families, couples, or anyone else who enjoys a boutique hotel experience at a reasonable price.
