Golden State Inn & Suites, Buena Park

This place is just drugs house. Too many people hangs around all night posssiblilities selling or using drugs, I can smell of what they ae smoking with. Beware! Don't go there!

My feet stuck to the filthy carpet, the chair and love seat were so dirty I was afraid to sit on them, the drapes were torn and filthy...I could go on. I had the room for 2 nights. After checking in, I decided to stay at a friends the first night instead. When I came back to my room the next day someone elses things were in my room and whoever had been there had rummaged through and used my stuff. When I complained to the management they acted like they thought I was lying. Even after they had a look for themselves, they tried to make me feel like it was my fault. The manager even asked me smuggly "What do you want me to do about it? Nothing is missing." Turns out the person booked into the room next to mine had spent the night in my room. How did they get in? Again the manager smiled and said "You just cant trust magnetic keys." This place is a dump and the management cares nothing about your saftey. They offered me no apology and no compensation.

My husband and I went here for a few days of our honeymoon and we really enjoyed the Golden State Inn. It is not fancy, but it had what we needed and it was clean. The service at the front desk was very good. It was quiet and had a microwave, fridge, coffemaker, cable tv and a small balcony we could sit on and chat. If you are looking for high class, this is not the place for you. If you are simple people with average expectations, this hotel will do well for you. It has ample parking and a swimming pool.

I have stayed there only over night, many times. It looks alright on the outside, but the rooms are usually nice and clean.
