the poker room rude supervisor
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/30/10
I live in Las Vegas and play poker several times a month. The service at The Seminole Hard rock rude. To say the least, may i look around to see what kind of games are avalible. ? Supervisor no eye balling. You mean i cant evan walk around to take a look. No . Ok this must be a bust out casino. The rake is 6.00 per pot The dealers if you dont tip on every hand . Curse you under there breath. Excuse me sir . If you dont like it go some where else to play. Vegas is no bargin either. Those who play for a living, however i dont play poker for a living. The casino at hard rock is all greed. Buy the way i heard through the grape vine they rig there jack pots for high rollers. Lets see how long my post will last.

This is a great place to unwind
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/03/07
I thought it was a wonderful experience and go back any time that I can. The staff are very helpful and if you do encounter a problem they are there right away to fix it. The nightlife is great for everyone. My only real problem is with the food, there are really no good restaurants to eat at. The pool is like an oasis, it has everything you could want. The casino section of the hotel stays hopping all night long so if you're a night owl this is the place to go.

Hotel Haven
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/10/06
I found the Hotel rooms to be clean, neat and spacious, Beds were first rate for sleeping. Bathroom was large with a walk in shower and glass doors and easy to use controls. There were two sinks and a seperate room for Toilet. Noise level was almost none, staff was freindly and fast.

Live like a King or Queen at the Hard Rock!
By Holly, 08/31/06
I live maybe 10 minutes away from this hotel, and I wanted to get a room at it for my birthday. However, the prices were from 260-340 a night... so I said forget it. However, my best friend came upon a couple comp nights through her boyfriend who knows a high roller there, so she and I took a weekend and made it a "girls escape". You talk about living in ROYALTY!! The rooms are spacious, with intricate lighting, pearlescent gold tiling in the bathroom, incrediably comfortable beds, and even a stereo system in the room. The TV selection stunk (you figured a hotel of their caliber would have had satellite); but every night we had a maid come to our door to ask if we wanted "turndown service" or if we needed anything. Our toilet clogged once, and they came up IMMEDIATELY to fix it, even stayed for a few minutes to make sure the clog stayed down. Every time we called for ANYTHING it was, "Hello, Mrs. _____, how may we assist you?" And their ROOM SERVICE.. you'd think it'd be an arm and a leg, right? WRONG! I got steak and eggs with potatoes and my friend got belgian waffles with strawberries, and it was like a 25.00 bill!! And the food was outstanding... including the food at the "Tequila Ranch" Mexican restaurant out in the "Seminole Paradise" shopping/entertainment/dining area, and the sports cafe out there too has really great deals on gametime beers. The "Hard Rock Live/Paradise" entertainment complex is IDEAL for any concerts as well... sometimes a little pricey, but it's a MUCH smaller venue than, say, American Airlines Arena or National Car Rental Center (or whatever it's called now) in Sunrise. All in all, if you want FIRST CLASS service in a VERY convenient, unique location, check it out.

Wanted to, but Never been there
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/18/06
Well... I imagine you might wonder why write a review about a place to which you've never been. Let me lay it on you. If you are a Miami local and want to try your luck, or enjoy any of the ammenities so proported on the web site - you better walk... especially on a weekend!! This place has no where near the amount of parking and traffic controll required. I figured I'd organize a surprise for father's day; we went late at about 11pm, but once we were in the general vicinity of the casino we sat in inch-by-inch-bumper-to-bumper traffic for about an hour before we gave up the 'secret' and gave up on the Hard Rock.

Excellent
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/28/06
What I like the most of this hotel is that you have everything what you need in the same roof. You don't need to go anywhere else to have fun. Although I live in Miami, I stayed several nights at the Seminole Casino hotel (thanks to my wife gambling habits), and I enjoyed every night.. I am sure that the entire staff of the hotel and casino is under pressure because the hotel is always busy... But I hope that despite the work overload, they can keep providing the good quality of service.

The beds are GREAT
By AAA, 09/26/05
The whole atmosphere is really fun and exciting. I stayed up the whole night playing poker and while the rest of the family went to the bars that are right outside of the hotel/casino, when I finally got back to the room and and pulled the covers over me and layed my head on the pillow I felt like I was in a whole nother world. When it was time for me to get up all I wanted to do was stay in bed. I want to go back to rent a hotel room just to sleep in the beds there. Oh yeah the pool is really cool too. There is a waterfall, a slide, vollyball, a bar, private chiki huts, and as your swiming under the water you can hear the music playing. It was awsome!!

Paradise at a casino hotel!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/23/05
Attedning a convention at a casino hotel is not my idea of a good time. How wonderfully surprised I was to find this gem of a place. The pool was spectacular, a volcano filled with fun. A meandering 150 ft slide, pool bar, hot tubs everywhere and music galore. Not many children made it an adults paradise. The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated. Bathrooms were some of the most unique I've seen. Service and food at the hotel was great. Outdoor attached mall complete with an adult's only bevy of entertainment. Musical groups in the casino, hotel lobbies and grand mall were great. I didn't gamble a dime, but had one of the best times I've ever had. Had my hair cut at the SPA! Wow! What a collection of great stylists and spa personell. The gym is state-of-the-art, set up by someone who knew how serious people who love to work out take thier exercise. Easy access to internet. Great Business Center. No complaints or concerns anywhere in this place and I'm pretty picky! I'm going back for vacation!
