Live like a King or Queen at the Hard Rock!
I live maybe 10 minutes away from this hotel, and I wanted to get a room at it for my birthday. However, the prices were from 260-340 a night... so I said forget it. However, my best friend came upon a couple comp nights through her boyfriend who knows a high roller there, so she and I took a weekend and made it a "girls escape".
You talk about living in ROYALTY!! The rooms are spacious, with intricate lighting, pearlescent gold tiling in the bathroom, incrediably comfortable beds, and even a stereo system in the room. The TV selection stunk (you figured a hotel of their caliber would have had satellite); but every night we had a maid come to our door to ask if we wanted "turndown service" or if we needed anything. Our toilet clogged once, and they came up IMMEDIATELY to fix it, even stayed for a few minutes to make sure the clog stayed down. Every time we called for ANYTHING it was, "Hello, Mrs. _____, how may we assist you?" And their ROOM SERVICE.. you'd think it'd be an arm and a leg, right? WRONG! I got steak and eggs with potatoes and my friend got belgian waffles with strawberries, and it was like a 25.00 bill!! And the food was outstanding... including the food at the "Tequila Ranch" Mexican restaurant out in the "Seminole Paradise" shopping/entertainment/dining area, and the sports cafe out there too has really great deals on gametime beers. The "Hard Rock Live/Paradise" entertainment complex is IDEAL for any concerts as well... sometimes a little pricey, but it's a MUCH smaller venue than, say, American Airlines Arena or National Car Rental Center (or whatever it's called now) in Sunrise.
All in all, if you want FIRST CLASS service in a VERY convenient, unique location, check it out.
