I go there every other month
By Stoyan, 11/08/09
My job requires me to go to the Silicon Valley quite often. Initially I was checking out different hotels, but once I stayed in Wild Palms I decided that's the place. Friendly stuff, free breakfast, free wifi, clean rooms (as hotels go), never been disapointed. Highly recommended.

Staff is rude on the phone.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/17/07
I work as an Administrative Assistant and recently booked the Wild Palms for several team managers in my group. It is one of our company preferred hotels. I have not been to this hotel but each conversation I've had with the local staff has been...odd. I get the feeling I'm always calling at a bad time and that it's difficult for them to work with someone as stupid as they seem to think I am. Luckily, we've managed to get everyone a reservation despite the staff's obvious difficulty working with me, so that's a win. Each time I end a call with the staff at this hotel I find I am laughing because I actually haven't been insulted by hotel staff this consistently or with this much disdain since my last trip to Paris. I suppose "Joie de Vivre" is an excellent choice for the parent company's moniker.

Consistant wonderful experiences....service A +....Front desk A+....sunday morning brunch...AA++...pool A++ This hotel has been our favorite getaway spot for just at a year now and we just love it. sooo cute!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/11/07
Wild Palms was everything I expected from the pictures and website. I love the decor, especially the cleanliness! The bathroom was my favorite. It is definitely better than ALL hotels at its price. LOVED the wi-fi! great internet connection. They also supplied Aveda products which I love since I'm a Aveda junkie. The pool was also nice since the day we went was very warm. The complimentary breakfast was pretty bad, but what do you expect? The gym couldn't even be considered a gym since it just had a bench and some weights and 2 treadmills. I really wish I could go back!

nice place to stay

We stayed there for Google Code Jam 2005. It was really a nice place. Note some rooms don't have internet, but things might get changed now.

Green but not a cool Green
By , 05/15/07
I like the Joie de Vivre locations that I have stayed at -- over five in the past few months. Always stylish, modestly priced, clean and full of what I need. I definitely recommend any of their locations. The Wild Palms was different than the ones in San Francisco. Very inexperienced people working the desk, and the check in line was really long due to their inefficient work. The small lobby was very hot, so one of them grabbed water bottles for the 8 or so guests waiting to check in. When asked about recycling the bottles the guy at the desk just laughed at the thought of recycling. Come on Joie de Vivre, make your chain really stand out and go green. Your guests will appreciate and remember your decisions.

Beautiful room
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/20/07
The room is beautiful and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is very clean. However, the white bath towels should be changed, they are no longer white anymore. The room has unplesant smell, but not the bed. Good selection for breakfast, the lady in the breakfast area is very nice and always smile. We like the location of this hotel, a few miles from the hotel before get on to FWY 280, there are seveal good restaurants on the right hand side. We will stay here again if we ever need a hotel in this area.
