Econo Lodge West Memphis, West Memphis

Place was dirty, had chip bag under wall unit. Big stain on comforter. No remote for tv never did get one. Close to our destination. Good food close by. Lot of noise from interstate. Heater contronl broken so the room was uncomfortable.

We spent two nights at this hotel, and "no", we will not be staying there again. The housekeeping was very poor, and there were a lot of housekeepers working cleaning rooms, apparently they are cleaning them in a hurry. Someone need to do room checks. The room was top clean only. Behind the dressers, beds, walls, etc...are filthy. Friendly employees, but they should take more pride in their rooms. I am a property manager and I know that it is worth it, when you invest in your property. Decent hotels, bring decent people. Unkept hotels, bring unkept customers.

We checked in at 4pm. After we were done getting our luggage in the room, my wife spilled some water on the carpet and wiped it up with a washcloth. It came up black as soot. The place is right next to the interstate and the walls are paper thin. The traffic from the interstate was so loud we could barely hear the TV, or fall asleep. The beds were full of mold that set off my wife's allergies. At 1am we finally had enough and went to check out. Rather than try to remedy the situation they just let us leave.

We spent a single night and we were very pleased. The room was immaculate..the bed was huge and so very comfy. Wasnt expecting much for the price but was pleasantly surprised. Our room was only a stones throw away from the Waffle House so we "dined in"..ha ha. If we ever need a place to stay in that area, we know where to go!

This is a lovely little econo lodge, on the skirts of town on yer way to memephis. Inexpenisve and very accesable, its where i stay when ever im in town. Oh yeah and the "+" isa that there's a Waffle house right next door. Huzzah for good food close by.
