generally, room was clean...

the staff was nice, but they failed to tell me that the door sticks ti the point i had to put my shoulder into it.Nor did they say anything about the phones being out of order so I couldn't get a wake up call nor could it be set from in room(they told me that they had been having trouble the next am)finally I went to make coffee and upended the pot in case of dust bunnies and a giant pubic hair fell out.This place needs improvement.Overall appearance is fine....

THE WORST!!!!

I thought I was getting a great deal by making my reservation online and 'prepaying' for the room. That was not the case....it was not paid for at my arrival. I called the night before to confirm...'yes, we have you in a King Smoking room.' That is not what I reserved for online. I asked for 2 queen beds and a non-smoking room (we have severe allergies). They said they would correct the reservation. We arrived for a late check-in. Room reservation had not been corrected and the clerk could not have cared less. She then said they would give us a roll-away...two hours later no roll-away. I call; 'I said I would check to see if we even had one available'. The room stank of cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The manager the next day did not care at all and refused to accomodate us. Poor service, poor accomadations, absolutly the worse hotel in Sierra Vista!

2 week stay

I stayed at the Sierra Suites in March of 2006 for 2 weeks. Best thing about it was the Breakfast! The rooms were nice and clean and the staff cleaning my room was thorough, yet very quick. My room was directly behind the Spa area, but noise was no problem. I do agree with others that it often took a abnormally long time to get things accomplished at the front desk. The high speed internet worked without problem the entire stay++. I would stay there again, except for the fact that i like getting rewards points at major chains like Mariott & Holiday Inn.
 
 
 
 
 
Price is Right

I was satisfied with this hotel. the price was right and included a small breakfast. The free high-speed service was a plus. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone spending time in the Sierra Vista area.
 
 
 
 
 
Nothing special

Sierra Suites is an adequate hotel. Some staff members are not very hospitable. The place is fairly clean. It can be noisy in rooms near the pool and front desk during the summer and they need new curtains because the ones they have do not block out much sunlight if you want to sleep in.

What I didn't like about Sierra Suites is the hospitality. The people particularly when I made reservations were short, snotty and seemed bothered by having to make my reservation. They also didn't seem interested in answering questions I had about the room. Not a good first impression.

rooms

We had a great time at your motel but we felt that check in was very slow and when we called for maintanace they were very rude and they smelled bad but there was a high point and that was you house keeping staff was kind and prompt.... Whoever there boss is I think that person should get a raise ...Thacks for your hospitality...

Good place to stay
