Grand Canyon Caverns Inn, Seligman

The rates were low $50 (I guess the non-tourist season rate), I had 3 rooms for the family for an extended hunting trip in the area. The rooms were well maintained for the rate, the beds comfortable and the staff great. They held a Buck contest for the largest buck for the season, I cam e in 3rd. The desk was very helpful. I needed a Microwave for us to cook our breakfast at O'dark thirty before the hunts and they took the one out of one of their offices and put it in my room. The fact that a bar and restaurant are on site is a bonus. The bath was OK, what you would expect for the fee. I read several other posts that had me a little concerned, but I had no problems. I plan to stay next year if I get drawn. Don't be scared away from the place because people expecting 5 star stay at a one star price. This is a solid place for the rate.

It's not fancy, and the rooms are older but pretty spacious. The restaurant has good food of diner type quality. Again - not the 4 Seasons but a step up from Motel 6 as far as size of the rooms. The staff is very friendly and accomodating.

We were walking to Havasu Falls so an early start was called for. We found the room clean enough and large enough but the plumbing from neighbouring rooms was intrusive and we felt it was expensive for the standard on offer.... and don't expect the restaurant to provide palatable food (except the pie!). I guess because they're the closest thing to Supai they can charge more than it would otherwise be worth.
