Ester Gold Camp, Ester

We try to hit Ester at least once a year. Twice is awesome. If you like snow crab or dungeness crab. Then you will love this stop. They have a bunk house feel. They have other food on the Buffet. Just in case you don't want to eat crab.( what are you crazy?) All you can eat. Yeah you will have a belly full. Go check out the Malemute Saloon Show after you eat.

My husband and I stopped by to "check it out" and wound up staying the night. After the delicious dinner, we stayed for the Saloon Show and checked out the Northern Light Show. We were awakened mid-night to shouts of delight of the real light show and saw a real treat of Northern Lights better than we see here in Anchorage. Ester was a hoot and I'd recommend it to anyone who's tired of the usual "tourist bustle".

Rustic, Fun, a wonderful place to stay, the malemute saloon is lively and a good show to see. The Food was excellent and if you leave hungry its your fault. I will be going back again.
