Scottish Inn, Bessemer

THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN.WE BOOKED THIS HOTEL OVER THE PHONE AND WHEN WE GOT THERE WE WALKED IN AND CANCELED THE RESERVATION.THEY LIED TO US AND SAID THEY WHERE 15 MIN FROM THE RACETRACK OVER THE PHONE. AND WHEN WE ASKED FOR THE MONEY BACK THEY LAUGHED AT US AND CALLED US STUPID. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE I DONT WONT TO SEE NOBODY ELSE GET TOOK LIKE WE DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE PUSHED DOWN!

I have stayed at some pretty crummy places in my life while traveling but this place was the worst ever. This place is nothing but a crack-house motel. The premises is filthy and the desk clerk was strung out on drugs. Once we arrived, we wouldn't even stay there due to the condition of the place.

i would not send someone i hated to this motel. it was a terrible. no running water no remote no cable and the smell was horrible. we sat long enough to call another hotel and when we wanted our money back we had to act ugly and we still got charged a fee for leaving. the person working the desk seemed like she was not concerned about the problems we had. they must charge by the minute.
