Crest Motel, Mobile

Great Hotel for the workers who come from out of town, you feel like you are at home with the friendly staff. They really try to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Just this January, 2006 due to the Katrina storm, there was only one place I could find to stay with my 18 yr.old granddaughter and that was the Rest(room) Inn, Mobile, Al. They charged me $50.00+ (about $54.00)I can't remember now. BUT TOO MUCH!!That's alot of money for someone like me and I'm sure others. They couldn't get us to stay in that "rat hole" again if they gave me the motel!!! It was nasty, dirty and they actually started tearing apart the room next door to us at 8a.m. in the morning...we had just arrived (after driving for 12 hours)at 6a.m. Needless to say we didn't get much rest and I was VERY uncomfortable with the dirtiness of the room. After I saw the bathroom that had NOT been cleaned I really got nervous...then we found out that the toilet was almost coming out of the floor, it moved every time you used it. There were q-tips and trash behind the beds and the "RUG"....oh my God...after I stupidly walked on the carpet without shoes (and after a shower) I had to wash my feet the next morning from the dirt on the rug!!! I WANTED TO SCREAM.....WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY AND SLEEP. I will NEVER go back there or send anyone else there. I am going to try to get my money back too...there must be laws about this kind of DUMP and lousy treatment. UNBELIEVABLE. Disgusted in FL.

Never have I called a hotel or motel and request availabity on a trip for the weekend making early reservation and the clerk tell me to call back on the day I need the room and hang up on me. called back and subject was rude and hung up on me the second time. would I recommend this hotel or motel. I would sleep in my car before I step on there property.

I had a great time at the Rest Inn Staff was friendly rooms where clean. Location was great Did not have to drive at all to get to places Love It. They had the best prices in town I went with my parents and son they have a pool and my son readly enjoy his time there. The bar had live music at night and cheap drinks so we spent the evening enjoying the music. Can't wait to go back

On June 25th the only vacancy in Mobile, AL was the Rest Inn. We brought everything in the room that was not tied down. We were very nervous about what appeared to be going on in the motel parking lot needless to say inside the other rooms nearby. The sheets were not clean, vomit on the carpet and smeared blood on the wall. I could not wait arrive at our next destination to take a shower. Not an experience I want to remember!

I stayed at the Rest Inn in Mobile a few months ago while visiting my sister who lives in Mobile. I took my mother and my 2 adopted sisters along as well ( I'm 20, sisters are 9 months and 8 years) Room is what could be expected. Very clean, very inexpensive and just all around nice. I mean, you can't complain for around 30 bucks a night! Sure, it a luxury hotel but for the price it cannot be beat! The only downside is the person behinde the desk doesnt speak well english, as many people do not in Mobile, so speak slowly to them...they aren't trying to be rude.
