Fremont Inn, Alhambra

LOS ANGELES COUNTY HEALTH INSPECTOR DID NOT FIND BED BUGS AT THIS FREMONT INN. THE REPORT STATED " UNJUSTIFIED COMPLAINT". FALSE CLAIM ABOUT BED BUGS...

The broken english and all-capital responses from "Yahoo contributors" whom you cannot contact makes it clear: rather than attempt to improve their disgusting hotel, the owner(s) are attempting to sway opinion on this site by posting false reviews. Anyone who had a positive experience at this hotel is a rare person indeed, considering the treatment of the over FORTY persons in my group that stayed there and all received the same terrible service and disgusting, dirty, bed bug-ridden rooms. Furthermore, I've tried multiple times to ascertain the owner of the hotel to raise my concerns, since the staff has so far refused to provide me with a way to contact the owner(s). Again, I cannot emphasize enough that for this pathetic, dirty hotel, the owner should be ashamed. Once again, i would advise to avoid at all costs. Sleeping on the street would be more comfortable and probably cleaner.

I had the pleasure of staying at the fremont in for about 2 and half monts. I recently located to the area from the midwest. The staff at this establishment were extremely courteous and hospitable. They aided me in anything I needed. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel is conveniently located near department stores as well as dining establishments. I highly recommend staying at the fremont inn to anyone who is in the area

This place is in violation of safety. The place was dark and locked early evening hours and I had no access to get out if needed. The bed was awful and I was bit by bedbugs several place on my back. This place is overprised for what it offers. Caution: DO NOT STAY HERE

the woman frontdesk clerk needs hotel management training....not very nice woman..we were treated like second class guests....please do something. she locks the front door all the time???? thanks to the Filipino clerk very hospitable and friendly.. greatly appreciated his effort...his service was five star class. breakfast not so deluxe....stale bananas,chinese bread,generic brand milk and cereal.hotel rates over-rated!!!!!

Once entering into the inn - it was very dim - not a "cozy" type of dim but a "creepy" one. The room wasn't very clean - had a smell to it. Felt like there were bugs in the bed - wan't able to sleep at night - very itchy. The "Complimentary Deluxe Continental Breakfast" wasn't so very deluxed, which consisted of imitation branded cereal, unfresh fruit, stale donuts. The service we received wasn't very welcoming. The woman at the counter wasn't very nice. Definitely not recommended.

Ours was the only car in the parking lot at the Fremont Inn when we stayed there for one night in mid-July and we believe we were the only guests. We were in the Alhambra area to attend a funeral and we based our hotel selection on a review we found posted on this site. The room was not clean, very shabby, hugely overpriced for what was offered. The so called continental breakfast was inedible (stale donuts). A woman who appeared to be the owner seemed overjoyed to greet us and stayed with us during breakfast (embarrassing because we were trying to spit out the donuts into our napkins and discretely dispose of them.) It's probably a mom and pop operation and I hesitated before sending this review but the thought of other travelers being caught unaware bothers me too much.
