LivINN Hotel Minneapolis South / Burnsville, Burnsville

This place may look nice online but its nothing like they say and when you call to make reservations a lady name Jessica is very rude, although i tried being very polite and speaking nice to her she still was sarcastic. Plus the discriminate against children here. During my check in they said I can only stay a week because children are not allowed to stay more than five days at there hotel. I came from out of town and was looking for a place to stay for two weeks. i have never heard this before in my life where if you have children you cant stay longer than five days this is BS to me. They said it was against the federal law at any hotel in Minnesota to let children stay longer than five days. Which is a lie! Anyways the pool was filthy and the washing machine eats up your quarters and they will not reimburse you because they say theres no proof you put in quarters. During the night down the hall was a strong order of Pot and to top it off they say you get a breakfast in the morning the only have hard donuts and nasty milk taste warm. The a/c was not working well and they said a maintence person would come and fix it which never happened! I didnt want to bother and ask all the time but when i did they would tell me tomorrow they would come and when she spoke to me she said it like i was a child such as this " Tthhee Mmaann wwiill ffiixx iitt ttoommorroowwww" like if i was a child or could not hear or speak english wth very unproffesional and rude. I had it with them so I will be filing a lawsuit for discrimination since my brother is an attorney of law. Dont be fooled to stay here they are so wrong in so many ways. I hate it there and dont recommend anyone to go back there at all! take my word for it RUDE!!!!!

I liked the room i would recommend it to others the location was great the service was excellent the room was in very good condition

The bathroom tub and floor were not cleaned at all and the floor wasn't vacuumed. I liked having the bathroom sink separate from the shower.

The staff was really nice and the room was comfy. But the hotel didn't supply hairdryers, the coffeemaker was broken for the continential breakfast (which was just package muffins and no juice). My room was on the other side of the elevator and the guests that were across the hallway kept going up and down into all night long. I had to have the t.v. on to drown out the sound of them. I told the front desk, but they did nothing. The restaurant next to the hotel was the best thing about my stay. Best steaks! But it's not enough to stay here again.
