Better place to stay while in Bogota
By ,
This place is very expensive. My friend stayed rented a very nice apartment for much less. The place is called Exclusive Bogota Lodging and they have a website where you can book your stay with them. He said he loved the place.

so good!
By ,
Please! Everybody knows that this is the more classic hotel in Bogota area... People that asked for a night club scenery, noisy enviroment and trashy decoration needs to go to South Beach... This is a hotel only to people whom knows Bogota's hispanic traditions... I mean...this is only for some special people...got it? To visit Bogota, you need read about it. Food, rooms and service are so good!

A Lovely Place to Stay
By ,
The hotel was beautiful and very clean, the staff friendly. The only service drawback was that they neglected to refill our firewood for the fireplace after we asked at the desk, and they didn't replenish the mini-bar at all during our 3 night stay. However, the overall feel was of security and comfort. The bar/restaurant was cozy and the waitstaff very efficient and attentive. The food was great. We had none of the issues that others present in their reviews - plenty of water in the bathroom and the shower pressure blew us away!

Hotel fine/restuarant & bar disappointment
By ,
In years past, we enjoyed so much the reataurant as well as the bar/lounge area. Several years ago, we returned, and our meal was mediocre and overpriced. As for the bar, we were shocked to see it all "modernized" and were terribly disappointed. It no longer retained the romantic charm that it had in the past with its more colonial decor. We probably will not return to the bar [two levels, cozy, lovely in the past].

Presidents & Prime Ministers

This is where the visiting dignitaries stay. The rooms are plush, the tubs are deep, the service is impeccable. Upon departure, you'll be handed a souvenir bag of Colombian coffee.

Great place true 4 star
By ,
This was by far the best hotel i have been too in bogota, If you speak spanish they treat you like kings (i tiped alot like 10 bucks a shot) Room was very nice room 211 in the back, the back of the hotel may be better less noise its a busy road in front, Food was great we ate on the patio every day for lunch, also many nice eaterys just in behind the hotel ie tony romas, Again try and speak spanish if you can they love that, Hotel is very safe they dont let anypone in with out a invation, Had no trouble with my wifes family visting us as well as my wifes friends Final thoughts this a cozy top notch place well worth the money but dont expect a total american style deal you are in south america!
