Crown Paradise Club Cancun All-Inclusive, Zona Hotelera

My family of four ( Mom, Dad and Sons 4 and 5) Loved this resort. The Staff are wonderful, helpful and nice. Crown Paradise has something for everyone. An all day kids only play area, beautiful beach, great variety of food and great restaurants. I have nothing to complain about when speaking about Crown Paradise. We all enjoyed our stayed and our sons ask about going back all the time. Great Resort for families. 5 stars!

The food was great, plentiful, resturants were easy to get into w/wo reservations. Like five pools for the kids! plus an adult pool. I ordered room service one nite, because i was lazy! i got a great club sandwich, chips and sodas in 15 mins FOR FREE. it was so good i did it again,,,arrived in 15 Mins For FREE! Yes older hotel, but how can you complain abour FREE (great) food and drinks all day and nite! The price was like 500 for each adult and the children FOR FREE! EVERYone went out of their way to great us everyday! one day they forgot to clean our room/ some mixup, It was OK! I Didn't even tell anyone. except you! I was worried about AC i have athsma, AC WAS GREAT! evening sales in lobby were interesting, one nite an artist made great pictures, with spray paint! kids sat for hours watching with amazement in their eyes!

Great trip had meals and drinks included! Great staff but too much tequila! Took tour of ruins great went on cool day was hotter at ruins! Always felt safe! Lots of Americans and Canadians! It was our 20 year anniversary trip! Great show at night!

Clean,pools were great,food was good in the individual resturants,buffet was alright, of course some things better than others, employees helpful, always cleaning..It is an older hotel but very nice for the money. Nothing wrong with the room, we upgraded when we got there with no problem. Check in and check out lines are always slower than we would sometimes like. If you are a couple or single this is not the place to go, we were three ladies, it is mostly for parents and there children, there were children everywhere...all in all it was a good place and the beach was beautifulllllllllll. People that have a LOT of bad comments are usually the ones that you cannot please any way.......

We had read the prior posts before our trip to C.P. and thought we would make our own oppinion after the trip. Well we would not return to this hotel if we decided to visit Cancun again. First off we arrived a bit early around noon. Our rooms were not ready and we were told to go have a drink and come back in a half our. We "requested" joining rooms with my parents, and a king size bed for us and our 14 yr old so we "requested" a hide away bed. To which we were told if available you will get them. Hide away beds are $20- US per night. We returned in an hour to find our room was not ready yet , but my parents room was, so we went to their room #2425. We opened the door to a nightmare of a room!!!! This room was suppost to be a suite, there was a disqusting kitchenette on one side of the room with the so called "bed" sitting where you would put a table. The "bed" was two roll away cots side by side to look like a king size bed, the matresses were about 3 inches thick-no lie! It was terrible and my parents said there was no way they would sit on the beds let alone spend a night in that room! So after another hour of trying to get them another room they were in room 2420. This is a "normal" hotel room with a real bed. Our room was ready after about 2.5 hours, It was room 2424. Again a "normal" Hotel room. The tiles on the floor are chipped, old Box TVs. Hard Hard Beds, Lumpy Pillows. However Very Nice NEW Tile Bathrooms. Do NOT Get a Joining room if you are not going to use the door since there is no noise barrier between the door, you can hear it all. If you do not speak Spanish it is a very difficult place to stay since the staff is NOT bilingual. Room Service is usually a three call ordeal, We needed clean towels numerous times and had to call numerous times since they were never delivered after one or two calls. The so called "Reservations" you need to make the morning of for dinner are a flipping joke! You call at 8am like they tell you and if you do get threw you are put on Hold numerous times and when you finally get threw, they no longer have room in ANY of the restaurants. If you make them before you go down they will reserve two nights. The restaurants are NEVER full at the most half full. The buffet is just that a buffet. Cruise ship food is much better. The restaurant food is pretty good. We ate at all of them. They cater to the people who have the time shares at this place, they told us the restaurants were full so our friends called with the time share and were offered any restaurant, this is how they work! If you dont have kids DO NOT GO HERE !!!! TONS of kids and very loud all the time! It is true people put towels on the pool chairs at 4:30 a.m. No chance of having a pool chair after 7a.m. Watch your towels if you loose them its 35- per towel !!! and ours were stolen. The security guy said he found two of them and gave them back , but then we still needed one or pay the 35- !!! Not !!! I got a towel. They have people set up like a flea market in the open lobby a few times a week, same people every time. Some really nice art, and some tshirts. For older teens around 14, there is a very small game room, however half the games were broken! Batteries for Wii dead, and no one would replace them, I even tried at front desk, however they could not find any..... Beach was beautiful but two people died a couple hotels over from undertow while we were there. Our girl Merielle who cleaned our room everyday did a wonderful job and was tipped for her good work. However we did not feel anyone else went out of their way for us while we were there. Oh and the ONLY way to get bottled water is from room service. You cant even get it at the bars. No top shelf liquor. No problem, we did not drink. Directly accross the street is the sewer plant, so hope the wind blows in the other direction and you are not on that side of the hotel. My husband and I went during the off-season which may be why we experienced some of the things we did. We were disappointed in the fact that not all the bars (one pool and one beach) or restaurants (fujima) were open. The open bar at the pool had only one waiter and two lines. You had to call early in the morning to make reservations; you had a choice of two restaurants unless one was booked (even though there were plenty of tables open in the supposed booked restaurants). We don’t have children, but if you did only the waterslide area was open the other kids pool area (with the pirate ship) was shut down. I didn’t like the fact that the vendors had set up in the lobby every other day hounding you, along with the ones trying to get you to go to the welcoming (time share) breakfast. The adult only pool is relaxing (some topless women) there are two Jacuzzi’s, but they are not heated and if any jets were going they are not very strong. The food is okay, nothing special. The drinks tasted soapy. Seemed like the bartenders just wanted you to get your drink and go away. The gym cardio equipment was terrible; only a few things worked and were missing buttons; although there were plenty of weight machines. They did have nightly entertainment and we liked the Michael Jackson show. There was an area that had wii games, pool table, and a juke-box; we had gone in there for two nights while staff was in there, then on the last night we were told by staff that we can’t be in there it’s for teens only (even though no one else was in the room and that the juke-box was broken even though later we saw a worker go turn it on.) Maybe the place is different during peak time. They said they were only 50% full and that the staff has to take vacation during slow time, but in my opinion they shouldn’t advertise all amenities if they aren’t going to offer at all times.

I've been to cancun 7 times, 4 of which I stayed at Crown Paradise. I've gone both with my family and with just my friends (I'm 24). It's not one of the bigger "party hotels" but there is always something to do, the food is great and the drinks are always flowing. Rooms are clean and spacious, service is great. A very well rounded hotel. Worth it, Can't wait to go back in February!

Just spent 7 nights at the Crown Paradise Club Cancun Sept 11 - 18th 2010. We were a Group of 4 Adults and loved the fact that this hotel offered areas that were Adults only. Building 2 top 3 floors Adults only. I know one hotel can't please Everyone, but this one tries very hard. Our room had Big Jacuzzi, refrigerator stocked Daily and a Great View. The Adult Bar on the 8th floor had morning food/snacks/Drinks, Big Screen TV, and PC setup with Free Internet, this was very helpful, we tracked Tropical Storm Karl. All the Pool Bars, including the Adult only pool Bar, made sure you had plenty of good strong drinks/shots. The Main Infinity Pool had Bars on each side and a snack bar. Could not ask for better service at this Hotel - Diego, Ericka, Rubicell, Mosses, Mike, Luis, Figuro, Seven and Israel are just some of the Best, Hard Working employees I have ever meet. The Food was Good at the La Palapa Buffet, Best selection of any All-Inclusive Hotel Yet. The Specialty Restaurants - Los Gallos (Mexican Food), La Piazza (Italian), Wayne's Boots (Steak/Ribs), Fisherman's (Seafood) all had excellent food. It is a must, for Adults only, to go on the Lagoon Lunch Cruise. This was the best entertainment, pretty good food and drinks. Over all Crown Paradise Club Exceeded my expectation. Better than the Oasis Hotel 2 doors down.

I was at this resort in April, It was the worst resort by far as I have travelled to cancun many times before. The rooms were stuffy and hot, the temperature in the room was so high, we complained and not one answered our concerns, it was so hard to sleep. The bed was stiff and damp. The pillows weren't actually pillows, they were lumpy cushions the worst. The food was terrible, hardly any restuarants were open, the service completely sucked. The resort is old, not renovated at all. There was no fridge in the room so everytime you needed water or a drink you had to go to the bar to get it. As soon as we got there we realized we would not be happy there and it would be terrible to spend a whole week there, so on the second day when we went for our briefing, we told our Nolitours rep to move us to another resort which we've stayed at before because we were completely not happy with this one and she did just that. Within the hour she arranged for everything for us and told us to check out and walk over to the other one which was GRAND OASIS PLAYA (10 times better). We will never go back to this resort. Plus this is definitely a family resort as everything there is geared towards kids and there are kids EVERYWHERE, nothing really for adults. If you are adults with no kids DO NOT GO TO THIS RESORT, YOU WILL NOT ENJOY IT ONE BIT.

I went over spring break with friends and had a BLAST! The staff is so helpful and friendly. There is something to do at any hour of the day, or night! It is close to shopping and other acitivies as well. I would recommend this resort to kids, teens, adults, families, there is something to do for all ages. Very clean and great food and drinks!
