Nice Place

The only thing that I disliked about this place was the noise level. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything going on next door. Other than that I loved the place! I was here visiting my husband who is stationed here and it is very close to the base which was great! One other thing is the doors do not have a chain lock which I didn't like, but wouldn't stop me from staying here again. I did not feel unsafe here at all.

like a new hotel

This place is very convenient to the Norfolk Naval Base and ODU. They have in fact, completed a major renovation with new carpet, furniture and bedding in the rooms. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is on par with most other chains. The indoor pool and hot tub are nice for families.

Not worth the stop

The service was friendly but thats all. The rooms were dirty and smelled damp. The a/c leaked onto the floor. The bed spread was stained and there was a dead ROTTING mouse behind the fridge.

Newly Renovated is Misleading

The only thing that was newly renovated was the lobby. The rooms were were dirty and musty smelling. Changed rooms with the same results. Nice employees but rooms were were far from newly renovated like the sign out front advertised.
