Hampton Inn Allentown, Allentown

Booked what was supposed to be a nice romantic getaway on a Saturday night online. A jacuzzi suite was purchesded and we were on our way....to get there and find hundreds of youth soccer players staying here for a tournament. We could have been notified of this, all it takes is a phone call. We were booked on the second floor, ironically where most of them were lodged. Remaining optimistic for our happy getaway, in no way were we prepared for our stay. Kids running up and down the hall, non stop til midnight that evening and starting at 7am the next morning. Our room was on the end next to the stairwell, so we had the added enjoyment of listening to the ruckus there also. I won't even get into the problems at the continental breakfast. One of the two front desk workers was helpful, but ultimately no complete satisfaction. We hold the honors card, so you would think their first order of business would be for the GM to contact us and gather information to rectify the situation, but unfortunately not. Very poor customer satisfaction performance thus far.

I RECENTLY STAYED AT THIS HAMPTON INN IN ALLENTOWN. IT WAS FOR A COLLEGE SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT. MY CAR ALONG WITH 2 OTHER VEHICLES, WERE BROKEN INTO IN THE PARKING LOT! NAVIGATION SYSTEMS WERE STOLEN, ALONG WITH EACH OF US HAVING BROKEN WINDOWS! HAMPTON INN IS NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY. IT WAS IN THEIR LOT UNDER THE LIGHTS, BUT THEY WILL NOT HELP IN ANY WAY! NEXT TIME YOU STAY FOR A WEEKEND, ESPECIALLY IF IT IS WHEN PEOPLE TRAVELING FROM FAR, BEWARE! THE PEOPLE WHO DID IT SEEMED TO KNOW WE WOULD BE THERE FOR THIS TOURNAMENT, AND THEY DID THEIR DAMAGE! HAMPTON INN OWNERS COULD HAVE BEEN NICE AND TOOK RESPONSIBILITY, BUT NOOOO! INSTEAD, WE HAVE TO PAY OUT OF OUR POCKETS FOR OUR LOSS. SO INSTEAD OF PAYING 85-100 PER NIGHT, DON'T BOOK YOUR STAY HERE BECAUSE IT COULD END UP COSTING YOU $1000 IN THE END! STAY AT A MORE USER FRIENDLY HOTEL, WHERE OWNERS HAVE SYMPATHY FOR THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS!

My family stayed at this Hampton Inn during Thanksgiving vacation. We reserved two rooms and stayed three nights. We were very pleased with the staff and the rooms. The breakfast was fantastic. We will return to this hotel again.
