The Morehead Inn, Charlotte

Definitely was a pleasant place to stay! My room view was great and so was the breakfast! If any of u wanna save money on it tho I'd suggest using SweetHotelDeals. Net

I stayed at the Morehead while in Charlotte for an interview and could not have been more surprised or pleased. I arrived late on a Wednesday night and the young man waiting was as sweet as he could be, making sure I was comfortable and had everything I could possibly need, he even helped me make a decisions on breakfast in the morning! The breakfast the first morning was delightful as was the service. The staff knew I was heading out for an interview and even wished me good luck! When I arrived home late that evening after an extremely long day in the interview, the young man at the front desk came to check on me and again help me decide what would be best for breakfast the next morning. I had exceptional service the next morning as well and when I returned after yet another long day with a job offer, the staff was so excited and celebratory, it was a wonderful feeling. I look forward to returning here again, especially for a romantic weekend, and enjoying the beautiful scenery and service!

The bed was filled with bedbugs and the manager was just as bad!! She told me to "take a hot bath with salts!!!!" All the other hotel employees were perfectly lovely.

We just had our wedding & reception at the Morehead Inn and spent the weekend there with our family & wedding party. The staff was friendly, detail-obsessed, and professional - and the whole event was seamless. Even without a separate wedding coordinator, we were able to do *nothing* on our wedding day except relax, enjoy the people around us and have a great time. You won't find better food anywhere in the city, and the chef was willing to work with us on some special requests that were delicious and very reasonably priced considering the quality. If we were going to do it all over, we'd definitely go with the Morehead again.
