Comfort Inn Plattsburgh, Plattsburgh

This was not a planned vacation, my other half had a extended stay at Plattsburg hospital, and with a two hour drive home they recommended I stay at the Comfort Inn. When I arrived, the staff was very caring of my situation. I ended up having to stay for 4 nights. The staff always made sure I had nothing to worry about, always asking how things were going, if anything they could do . The hotel it self was so clean, rooms are great, and the bed was perfect. They have a great gym, water park, and the parking lot was well lite at night. I highley recommend this hotel!!

we never seen a hotel that had everything we love it and kids love it. it was clean ,good service, and staff were wonderful amazng kids game room and outside door

Comfort Inn Plattsburgh is a very nice place to stay. Very nice pool area and games for the kids. The additions are very nice with a Perkins and a sport bar. The location to shopping is also great.

This hotel currently is undergoing MAJOR renovations which they fail to mention on their website. Don't expect a great view, because all you will get if your room is facing the courtyard is a construction site! The room was decent, except for the bleach spots on the floor. We were traveling with our 1 yr. old son. We had requested a crib when we made our reservation and when we arrived at 8:30 p.m., they said it would be there by 9 p.m. When it didn't arrive by 9:30 p.m., I called the front desk, and they said they had many requests for cribs and that it would delivered as soon as possible. Between the hours of 10p.m.-11 p.m. we called the front desk two more times and were told the same thing. Meanwhile, our little child fell asleep in our bed. We slept off and on until around 12:45 p.m. and still there was no crib. I called the front desk again and said we still had not gotten our crib and they said, "Oh, I'm sorry mam, we will get it up there right away." It arrived 5 minutes later with the delivery guy saying the cribs had been moved around so much they did not know where to find them. It does not take 4 hours to locate a crib! The hotel is not THAT big. I think the final straw is the next morning when we were packing up, I found a popcorn kernel in the baby's crib. We didn't have popcorn! Which made me wonder if the bedding that came with the crib was even clean! Do NOT go to this hotel. The service was horrible. They kept saying they would get us a crib, and it would have never happened if we had not kept calling them. The appearance of the hotel looked like a construction site. And the noise was horrible. Sidebar: My in-laws stayed in a jacuzzi suite, and there were tiles missing and the state of the room was generally not luxury like.

I will start with what I did not like due to the fact the list is shorter.The exterior of the building is being updated which left little parking and no handicap access.I have a disabled child and lack of parking left me to park off the black top with the rest of the construction materials and equiptment.I had asked the evening attendent if there was anyway to get closer to the building.He was very kind and did everything he could to help but the guests are not required to give vehicle discription or a plate number at check in.This was the only thing I did not like about our stay. As for the things I did like was the fact the staff was very helpful and pleasent to deal with.Housekeeping did a great job.Our suite was clean and fresh towels was not a problem.The signage was visable from the highway so there was no problem finding the hotel.As for convenience,we were in the heart of the shopping district and that was our purpose for being there. The reason we picked this hotel was the indoor pool with waterslide.I have done some traveling and actually haven't seen any hotel pools complete with waterslide.My child enjoy this most of all. Overall we were very happy with Comfort Inn and will likely stay with them again in the future.
