Not the same as when the Hampton was in charge

Place is rundown and probably the reason Hampton Inn took its name off this facility. Needs much work in the rooms. For the price, you certainly do no get any luxury or nice accommodations. Look around before your take this place.
 
 
 
 
 
Enjoyed our stay!

We were able to check right into our room without any delay. The room was clean and the beds were great. In the morning we had the continental breakfast, which was perfect before we started our day. This hotel is very close to Atlantic City and easy to get to off the Garden State parkway.
 
 
 
 
 
Over-rated and over-priced

We changed rooms twice because of a moldy smell (probably from wet beach towels left on the rug) and then a again a third time because the air conditioning didn't work. The staff was unable to recommend any place to eat except the Denny's on the property. The pool was not clean and did not open in the morning until after check-out. Hampton usually does a much better job than this.
 
 
 
 
 
Surprisingly Nice!

These places along Rt. 30 are usually total dumps; but this place was way nice for the price. Front desk was super-friendly and the room was great.
 
 
 
 
 
dirty bathrooms

We arrived late . Got up early ,found our bathroom shower dirty. mirror water stained. called front desk. they sent key to room next door. went to next room to shower. found dirty shower there also. called front desk,manager came to room, had excuses for cleaning people. he said the showers were sprayed but they forgot to wipe them. the mirrors were dirty in room because of humidity. we will not use this hampton inn again. we were not charged for our room...........

very nice place and friendly staff.

Everything was very nice at this motel,and will defintly stay again.Much cheaper than Atlantic city and well worth the extra few mins to drive.Stayed at a Roadway inn just down the road,The nite before,and it was twice as much,What a dump that was.....
 
 
 
 
 
The highlight of our trip to New Jersey

We arrived in New Jersey on a Sunday afternoon and spent some time in Ocean City. We arrived at the Hampton Inn, Absecon to find our room very clean. The front desk staff was helpful and directed us to a lovely restaurant for our dinner (Rifici's). The lobby had fresh coffee and free internet service, which was a great distraction for our teenage son. The breakfast the next morning was wonderful - hot french toast sticks, sausage, cereals, breads, fresh fruit, juices, etc.. The breakfast host was very pleasant and tended to the buffet wonderfully. My only complaint was that the bed was not too comfortable and the ventilaton system was a little too loud. I'd stay there again.

not bad for the price

lower rate yet very close to atlantic city and points south...pool was quite nice...cribs were pack and plays which worked wonderfully and were safe for our daughters...breakfast was delicious but breakfast host was very unfriendly and some days downright rude...mousetraps in the breakfast area close to where children were playing and one got it caught on a finger...room floor was quite dirty...
