Located in Vicksburg’s Historic Garden District, The Corners is a true Southern Mansion with the original parterre gardens and views of the Mississippi River. For our special guests, a sumptuous breakfast is served with candles lit each morning in the dining room. The mansion was built in 1873 as a wedding present to Susan Klein and Isaac Bonham. The Classic Greek Revival style home now has 16 guest rooms of which some are adjoining and can accommodate groups of more than 34 people. It is only fitting that this warm and inviting home, The Corners Mansion, is today the setting for many family events, special gatherings and delicious repast's.

The home was beautiful BUT.....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/15/09
Breakfast both days tasted like they were left overs from other dates and the food was not good. Sausage tasted like rubber, biscuits were very dry and the longer they sat the worse it got (which leads me to believe that they were "freshened up" in the microwave), bacon was over done and the eggs on the second day were terrible. Room glasses and coffee container not cleaned in 2nd day and coffee/tea supplies not freshened up. I would not recommend staying here but do recommend a tour of the home.

Great People, Great Food, Amazing House!!
By cara, 04/21/09
We spent the weekend at The Corners for the wedding of friends along with several other couples. The house was amazing and the owner, Ms. Macy, was very knowledgeable of the history of the house and the town and was very eager to share. The food was great, the grounds were beautiful and even with so much going on Ms. Macy and the staff seemed very organized and relaxed. The wedding was small and very cozy, beautifully set up and arranged. We will definitely return to The Corners, hopefully for the one year anniversary of Paul & Donna!

Pets welcome, Humans Not So Much
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/30/06
The inn staff were at a party when my husband, 5-year-old son and small dog arrived for our stay at this Victorian era mansion. We were never able to gain access to our room, so we left. My advice - ask them to please unlock the deadlock to your room before you get there. Also, don't go on a holiday weekend. The staff could very well be boozing it up while you're stuck just outside the door of your room - that you've been looking for for 30 minutes. Hopefully all the inn guests will help you. However, calling the phone number to the inn won't help - the phone just rings and rings.
