Passport Inns, Titusville

I stayed at this motel 2 times before when we had family come visit with us and I was chosen to stay at a motel. I picked this motel 2 times. Both times were very bad. NASTY but again I had to pick a motel for our visit and this time it was with the new owners of this motel. MY GOD I must say they must be Heaven sent. They have made so many changes to this motel. They show that they REALLY CARE. They are making so many changes to this little motel and even plan to change the color : ) I would tell every one who stayed here before, please do not judge it for it's past, look at it for what it NOW has to offer. An awesome pool and very nice office people. In fact, I would love to work there. I would love to be a part of the team that turns this sweet little motel around. Every one should have a new chance so why not give this little motel it's chance. God Bless

Absolutely worst place we've stayed at ever! And we've been to many countries around the world. The walls were covered with grime and dirt. The carpet was full of dirt. The bed sheets seemed to not have been changed because they were all wrinkled. They might have been clean but they were so full of old stains that it was very difficult to tell. The towels were also riddled with old stains. The sink and the bathtub in the bathroom was all yellow, brown and black with stains and very dirty. You could almost not see that they once had been white. The faucet was leaking. The tiny air conditioner mounted on the wall above the stove was full of dirt and was blinking "change filter". There were large burn marks around the stove. The refrigerator was missing. There was a broken bookshelf that was very skewed and threatened to crash into the stove or whoever might stand in front of the stove. The back wall/supporting wall of the bookshelf was broken off and a jagged wooden edge was sticking out. We saw several bugs there in the hour we stayed before we decided to leave. We managed to kill a large cockroach that was running across the night stand. The security chain on the door didn't stick since the door obviously had been broken open with the chain lock on. This was also evident on the door: When it was shut closed the door bent so much outwards at the top that it actually cleared the frame altogether and you could see the sky and the street lamps outside. We had a room with one bed and one bed couch. The couch was very dirty and after pulling out the bed you could look down on the floor beneath the couch and it had an inch of dirt, dust and food crumbs. No wonder there were cockroaches and other bugs there! There were two framed and glassed pictures on the wall above the bed and the couch, but these had obviously come crashing down on several occasions. The glass in both were broken and cracked and it was plenty dirt behind the broken glass. There were cobwebs in the corners of the room. Bottom line: Even by the cheapest backpacking standards this motel is BAD! Forget dirty sheets, bathroom, carpet, sofa ... everything! That's your least concern here. You run the risk of: Catching a disease, getting hurt on dangerous appliances/furniture or getting violated by intruders!!!
