Pass this roach motel up.
Filthy is way too nice a word to describe this dump. Do not be fooled by the pictures on their website, as I was. Those pictures had to be taken 40 years ago and the place hasn't had a decent cleaning or any upgrades since. If you arrive, as I did, after dark, you will not actually get to go into the lobby, but have to go in a side door where there is what I assume is bullet-proof glass between you and the night clerk. You have to slide your I.D. and credit card under the window, like at a bank. You will also notice a really big hand written sign that says NO REFUNDS!
When I got to the room, it was unlocked and standing open. There was a dustrag on the countertop, wet coffee stains and cigarette ashes (in a nonsmoking room!) on the table between the beds. In retrospect it makes me wonder if they don't rent the rooms out by the hour during the afternoon, after housekeeping has "cleaned" them. The ratty carpet was pulling loose from the floor with ripples all through it and had more stains than you can imagine. The floor was so disgusting that I did not take my shoes off until I got into bed and I put them back on before I got out of bed in the morning. The rest of the room was so gross that I didn't even want to set my bags down anywhere.
The bottom sheet on the bed was a flat sheet that wasn't even tucked in around the mattress. I guess fitted sheets are too expensive. LIkewise, the bathroom was disgusting with hair both on the floor and stuck on the wall.
I arrived after dark, do not know my way around Denver, and don't see well enough after dark to drive around an unfamiliar place, or I would not have stayed there. Because of my experience I will never stay in another Super 8 again. This hovel should be condemned.
