14 reviews for Hilton Woodland Hills Los Angeles, Woodland Hills
Outstanding experience
By francois, 01/22/10
Perfect location for my travel. Outstanding food choices in the same complex, from the Hotel's bar to Cheesacake factory, Flemmings and BJ's sports bar and Pizza. We never had to drive anywhere. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to accomodate all my requests. Very clean.

Beautiful 4 Star Hotel
By David Patricks, 05/21/09
Having seen that he last review was in 2007, I decided that Yahoo reviews probably mean very little! I did make my reservation and stay at this hotel. It was a beautiful 4 star hotel with exceptionally modern rooms. Flat screen tv's, large Hilton beds and great location.

Bed Bugs infestation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/02/07
Stayed for 6 nights in June 2007 in room 307. Room was infested with bed bugs. Woke after first night with rash on my body. I thought I was having an allergic reaction to something. Was worse each morning. Rash in rows of several inches on various parts of my body. Finally suspected bed bugs. I looked under the mattress and found a small, brown flat bug about the size of a tick on the box springs. I didn't bother looking for any more. Called front desk. They sent up a security manager who photographed my rash and took the bug that I found. They offered me a new room on the executive floor. I expressed my concerns about these getting into my belongings. They offered to dry-clean all of my clothes. I asked to get my luggage sprayed -- they provided a can of pesticide. Would have been nice if they offered to refund the room rate. They did not. Also, I now regret having brought my suitcase and carry-on bag back home. I have read that the bed bugs lay eggs in the crevices. I plan to throw everything out, and hope that I haven't brought these into my house.

Everything is extra
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/24/06
Clean place, good bed. Everything else is charged! Internet, local calls, parking, etc. The service was average but not too bad. The front desk people were nice but not to the level a mid priced hotel should be...even Holliday Inn has better service than this place!

Nice place to stay near LA
By MARIO, 09/25/06
Nice location, quiet, nice restaurant nearby (BJ's and cheesecake factory), very convenient for about everything. Clean rooms, never tried restaurant in there. Did go to bar once, well overpriced and a minimum of 2 drinks... escaped that by going outside for a smoke and back to room hehehe

Great location to visit our family
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/16/06
We loved the location in our former San Fernando Valley "hometown" as our family is located in the Valley and Valencia. The area was close to great shopping and restaurants and near the freeway and Ventura Boulevard. Other than the bottled water that was left sporadically during maid service, the room was beautiful, the view lovely and our Priceline room rate was unbelievable. The only somewhat negative experience was the long walk from the parking deck in the rear of the hotel. However, valet service is available so this can be avoided. Overall, it was a great stay and I would recommend this hotel.

ok place but bad service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/25/06
The parking is confusing to customer. We asked about parking and was told there will be no charge if we do self-parking and pay at the parking place. However, when we checked out, there is already $12 charge on CC. We argued and then the staff crossed out the charge and told us it would cheaper if we paid at the parking gate. It is $10 actually. The view is OK cuz it is a high-rising building. Nearby there is a cheesecake factory to dine out, and some shopping places to go. No free high-speed internet. the double bed is small.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/17/06
The hotel looks as though it has been renovated recently. My room was good sized with a very comfortable bed and nice linens. Everyone was VERY helpful and extremely friendly. I will stay there again!

Not Worth it, Moneywise, otherswise
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/08/05
Everything which are free in Holiday Inn and other hotels are extra charged in this Hilton hotel. Breakfast is extra and even Parking fees is $12 per day. The bottled water supplied is the cheapest brand. For the price not worth it. I would prefer Holiday inn next time.
