10 reviews for Bodega Coast Inn & Suites, Bodega Bay
great inn run by great people
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/28/08
My wedding was held here and from beginning to end the owners and empolyees were excellent. The innkeepers were kind and and considerate of all my requests and were always available. I had a large number of rooms reserved during a holiday weekend and they kept each reservation perfectly. Our Wedding Suite was beautiful and I heard only good things about the other rooms. Although some things in the wedding didn't go as planned, I have only praises for the Bodega Coast Inn.

See you again!
By R, 02/24/08
We have stayed in Bodega Bay on a number of occasions over the years. This was our second stay at the Bodega Coast Inn. Though our first time was fine(2oo6). This stay was exceptional. By appearance alone it was immediatly obvious new ownership or management is in place. The staff was marvelous. Room was spacious and clean(loved the fireplace). Would be nice if they had a restaurant but the breakfast was far better than most "continental". Very nice stay and will most certainly return.

This is NOT Bodega Bay Lodge and SPA
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/01/07
This place calls itself the Bodega Bay Lodge however that is not its name. This hotel is called the Bodega Coast Inn. The Bodega Bay Lodge and Spa is a much nicer hotel right down the road. We accidently booked here and it was a huge mistake. The Bodega Coast Inn is dirty and poorly maintained. We had to fight for them to allow us to cancel our reservations!!! They entrap you by calling themselves an incorrect name, don't be fooled.

Skip this hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/14/07
We stayed here for our anniversary. The good part is that the place is right on the shore. The bad part is that the hotel is poorly maintained, yet still charges premium prices. Most of the hotels at Bodega Bay are on the water so there is no reason to pay to pay top dollar here for a shoddy room.

Awesome & Tidy
By DJ, 01/17/06
We showed up, got a great room at a reason price for Bodega Bay. Room has a heart shapped jacuzzi in the room for 2, fireplace, VCR/DVD combo, view of the bay and far away ocean. Was clean, quiet and great place for R&R. Not for fancy folk, but great for down to earth people. Continental breakfast was awesome including warm waffles, fresh fruit, juices, milk, cereal, bagels, muffins, etc. Will become frequent visitors. Can't wait for next month.

for the price, i've seen much better
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/02/05
The room was discusting, and I am pretty sure there was BLOOD on the wall in our bathroom. When we told the front office about the suspicious stains they told us that the room had just been cleaned top to bottom, and then shruged us off. We brought our dogs, so the room that we stayed smelt like a combination of filth and the last fifteen dogs that had been in that room before us. The view that they advertise was none existent. We will find a new hotel for us and our dogs.

Do not go here. Read what happened to me...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/24/05
Not only was the room filthy complete with condomns under the bed but there was mold and standing water in two of the other rooms that were shown. There was no manager on site and finally (after 6 calls) when I reached the owner, he rudely refused to refund my money. There was no apology, a lot of attitude, and basically he hung up on me. I was in town for my anniversary and because of the Bodega Coast Inn it was miserable.

Overpriced, Misleading location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/23/04
Rooms are stacked on top of each other on a hill. We were promised an ocean view and the view of the ocean was about 6 inches between buildings. We paid the premium price for the dates we were there and our room was in the back of the complex, furthest from the "oceanfront". No air conditioning, which meant you had to leave the windows open and listen to all the other guests coming and going at all times of the night. The toilet ran all night long. The stay at this hotel was the most expensive and worst of all the hotels we chose along Route 1 in Northern California.

Total Nightmare
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/02/04
This booking was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The$300.00 room we booked was terrible. There was mold in the ceilings, spider webs, no adequate hot water and the so called "Deluxe Continental" breakfast was a total fiasco of prepackaged foods and drinks. I would not return to this place even if they gave me the room for free.

I LOVED THIS HOTEL! I WAS SO RELAXED AND THE PLUSH KING SIZED BED HELPED OUT ALSO! I LOVED THE VIEWS OF THE OCEAN RIGHT FROM MY BALCONY. IT IS JUST AN OVERALL GREAT HOTEL! I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL I GO BACK TO BODEGA COAST INN AGAIN!
