Comfort Inn Minot, Minot

The hotel seems like a hodge podge of an older hotel with added on units. The elevator is not near the lobby and is not on the ground floor (basement). Air conditoners were noisy window shaker units. Hotel smelled of chlorine due to the indoor swimming pool. Don't take your bags for checking in since you will have to go to the back of the hotel to use the elevator. If you try to take you bags from the lobby to the elevator be prepared to carry them up and down stairs on a journey thru a rat maze of corridors. The is the worst Comfort INN I have experiences. Usually they are very good hotels.

The Minot Comfort Inn is the best place to rest your head at the end of the day. I really enjoy the Comfort Inn for many reasons. 1) The location is great! I like how the Comfort Inn is seen from Hiway 2 and 52 so its rather quick to find for the out of town guest. It is also a very short walk (half a block) to an Applebees and 2 blocks from the Dakota Square Mall. 2) The service is top-notch! I make sure that my in-laws stay at this hotel whenever they stay in town. They love it! The hotel staff is always friendly and always accomodating. I also booked some rooms for my wedding with the Comfort Inn and they made sure that everything went smoothly. 3) Accomodations- the hotel allows pets with no extra charge. While I thought the rooms would be dirtier, they were still very new looking and very clean! There is a nice pool and hottub for the evenings. The full free continental breakfast also rocks! Orange juice, milk, cereal, toast, muffins, and you can make your own waffles. 4) Price is right! Considering all the other hotels in Minot, the price is right on the target and the hotel also offers discounts to seniors, AAA members, and military personnel. If you book online or over the phone, you may also recieve a Sam's Discount. 5) Peace of mind is also what you get when you book here. Not only did they make me feel 100% at ease when booking for my wedding, they also have never messed up a reservation in the 20 years I have worked with them. That is not something I can say for the International Inn, Holiday, and Best Western.
