Miss this one unless you are hearing impaired
By B., 3/19/11
I checked in to a hotel that had only a handful of cars in the lot. I asked for the most quiet room they had, as I had to get up at 3:30 to catch a flight. They put me in a room across from the swimming pool, elevator and ice machine. The noise from the pool was incredible. I poked my head in at 8:30 PM and there were at least 20 kids, all from the same group yelling and hollaring, with one adult to watch them. I called the desk to see if they could ask them to be a little more quiet and was told "kids wil be kids". I asked what time the pool closed and was told "10:30 . . . sorry" The hotel was about empty except for us. . I shredded my La Quinta Rewards card and will enjoy mailing it back to them. I used to stay at one at a busines location 5 times a month. No more.

Needs some serious customer service training!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/25/09
Okay, so it's cheap. I've never been to a La Quinta I didn't like until this one. First room reeked of smoke. Return to desk. Clerk went off on US for complaining (the entire hotel is supposed to be non-smoking!) because "We can't help what happens after the guests close the door!!" We got another room. Discovered a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. Back to the desk where we were told that NO ONE was booked in that room. Back up to the room, cautiously opened the door to discover room either occupied or just plain wasn't cleaned after last guest--I didn't leave the door open long enough to see if there was someone IN the room. The room was boiling hot, though. Back to the desk clerk to ask for a refund. The guy was hostile with US for asking because we had booked through Expedia. Third room was adequate--not great, but adequate. The whole experience was disgusting, though, as the desk guy offered NO apology for any of the hassles, and treated us like WE were being unreasonable for complaining in the first place. Sorry to interrupt your online gaming, your meal, and the book you were reading, Mr. Clerk. Next time we'll try not to be so annoying--oh, wait! There definitely won't BE a next time!

WORST Hotel Ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/5/09
Hotel room was very dirty. Pulled back blankets to find finger nail clippings under blankets. Very dirty and gross room. Called front desk and they had no one to change sheets. The toilet was plugged. Obviously, this room had not been cleaned or the toilet would have flushed and finger nail clippings would not have been all over the bed. Worst of all, the front desk attendant did not care at all. I checked out as fast as I checked in and do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Please save yourself the misery and stay at another hotel.

rubbish!!! plain and simple
By First, 11/11/08
the hotel is located around loads of eating and shopping but thats were the good ends . first off its just become a la quinta it was formally a econolodge and the same owners are managing it very poorly.the hotel is in disrepare nothing works the furnishings are well well worn the beds are clean but broke down to the point that your head is below your feet when lying down nomatter how you lay. requests are unanwserd and you get the feeling that this hotel is being ran on a skeleton crew even though business is good they seem full every night after 19:00 just beware that this hotel is not worth anything you could pay for it let alone 80 dollars us a night .there are plenty of other hotel in the area that i would try first before i try this one again i know this is not a 5* hotel but you should atleast get what ya pay for and you do not at this hotel .the manager is also not one toobe concernd seems he the son of the owner so carnt get canned for poor customer service and the owner oddly enough walks the halls pretending he is a house keeper which i thing is common within the indian population so complants fall on deaf ears so dont bother !!!!!

Wonderful service
By JohnC, 2/26/06
Nice hotel. Exceptional service! Will stay here again. Nice room size and the kids enjoyed the pool. Service given was excellent and felt the staff went beyond what is typical.
