Little things mean a lot.

King bed was lovely and comfortable. Big screen TV was great. Website says you need to book a coffeemaker, but there is one in the room. No 4 cup coffepot, just a system of making one cup at a time. So we only got one cup each in the morning.. The creamer/sugar packets weren't sufficient for the paper cups.. Good thing I brought extra packets of sweeteners and creamers! The hotel is very modern and mimimalist. Sofas in the lobby are almost impossible to get comfy in. Room is very sleek, but little things are missing. A window to open would be nice, and a light is desperately needed at the coffeemaker. Bathroom has no coathook, no safety bar, no soap shelf, no shower cap, no place for a woman to put her purse. he bowl sink is fresh & modern but takes up all the counterspace. They gave only 2 glasses for a King room where two people would be staying. Extra ones for the bathroom would have been nice for toothbrushing. No wine glasses..No fridge/minibar. Tiny nighttables. Even with the Loyalty program, you have to pay $15 for internet.( It's free with Fairmont's President's Club.) We won the one night stay through a Hyatt draw in their Loyalty program, which we really appreciated, so can't complain too much.:-).but it's the little missing things that probably will keep us away from paying full price for this hotel. View from the room of the CN Tower, etc. was amazing. Location was handy for many attractions including the Rogers and Air Canada Centres.. We even walked to the Eaton Centre. Basement parking level was strangely HOT.. about 85F at a guess.. I think if Hyatt worked on those little details, this hotel would move up from nearly great to great.
